The entire cathedral is well worth a visit, and the grounds are also impressive. Located in the enclave of Bryn Athyn, a visitor doesn't need a car. From anyone of the Septa system, take any train going to West Trenton and get of at Beth Ayers. It is about a 1/2 hour easy walk to the cathedral.

Good info! Yes, it definitely is worth the visit! The world is a museum, it always amazes me that people pay to go to museums but don't take advantage of art that is free and easily accessible.

We have monel piping and equipment at work for high corrosion environments. I didn't know it was ever used in art.

That’s the more common modern use for Monel. This is really rare, the cost of the material alone limits modern use in architectural metalwork. That’s one of the things that makes this place special. Thanks for watching.

First read about monel being used by Cyril Colnik in Thomas Wilsons biography on him!
