That’s absolutely amazing that this happened, well done Chicago for breaking the record and NWSL for organising this. First women’s sporting event since 1943, Would be great if Stars actually played their home matches here at Soldier Field where Fire play their matches considering MLS and NWSL have similar season dates. They’d easily get this attendance, maybe more every home game.

Amazing crowd. Red Stars have to move their home stadium to a place people can easily get to, because people want to go to their games, what they don’t want to do is figure out the hour drive, the parking, the gas, the food while on the road trip. Make the game easy and a no brainer to get to. Ease of access is the reason why most stadiums are in the middle of downtown, because all trains, buses, and cabs converge downtown. Red Stars have one of the best forwards in the world in Mal Swanson and they have her for 5 years! Move the home location and market the heck out of this team.
