I'm starting to realize that the bull knows exactly what's going on. Just buck this guy off once the gate opens. That's the job. I covered that event for a Colorado Springs radio station I worked at. After most people left, Chris Shivers was still hanging out near the bullpens doing media interviews. He was doing a TV interview in front of Little Yellow Jackets' pen with his back to the bull. While he was talking, LYJ snuck up behind him, poked his nose between the bars and playfully nudged Chris in the back of his leg, as if to apologize and say, "Hey buddy, sorry about that....." Everyone, including Chris, cracked up.

Time was I never missed a PBR televised event. Chris isn t remembered as often as others but he was as tough as they come. I always watched his rides, hoped he made 8 and had a bull he could get a great score on. Hope he s spreading that savvy around still.

I had a crazy buddy that tryed one time thinking he's a boss guy was small and all muscle and it kicked his asz over a week later he was still crying how bad it got him.he said never again would he do that when before he said I got this hold my beer.
