Join us for a tour of the Historic Sam Houston Schoolhouse and Museum in Maryville, TN! Sam Houston was a soldier, pioneer, and congressman who went on to become the Governor of Texas. He taught in this school prior to the War of 1812 in order to pay off a debt to the local general store.
