Central Valley farmers should take all the water they can from the canals and flood their fields to recharge the groundwater. It doesn't hurt the fruit trees, and definitely not idle fields. No water restrictions this time, so don't let it just run into the ocean. In olden days, the whole Central Valley would fill with water in early Spring, like a lake.

They could be using simple containments for water storage. I can't believe these people. They won't even put out 55 gallon drums to fill for personal gardens. Which, at the price of food, they are going to need simply to survive. Unbelievable.....

I remember a similar storm around 1952, I think. Dad drove us down to San Bernardino, from Running Springs, to see a movie. It was snowing too hard to get home so we stayed with his Uncle & Aunt. When we got home the next day, we could not get into our front door because it was buried in snow. We had to get into our house by digging DOWN to the second story bedroom window. That week or two, we had fun by tobogganing off our roof, because there was no dip to the driveway. We had a 10 person toboggan! 😊our roads were too narrow to plow back then and I have pictures of Dad and our neighbor digging out our whole street, as well as the driveway. He used the toboggan to walk to town for groceries and to fill the propane tanks and hike back to Luring Pines pulling it. About a 1/2 mile up hill.

If you knew what you were talking about, you'd know that the drought won't be over until the underground water reservoirs have been replenished. Also, you'd know that it takes time for that to happen--a rapid flood may look impressive but it doesn't mean much if it doesn't get absorbed deep into the ground. Alas, you don't know what you're talking about and you just scream "full of BS" at things you haven't even tried to understand.

You're cracking me up KTLA! Historic storm? You really don't do any research do ya? Heck, as a kid in 1969 there was way worse rain and flooding than now. How about the 1938 flood that pretty much drowned all of So Cal? And lets not forget the great flood of 1862 when the entire State was completely flooded. This storm is only historic for those under 30 yrs old and can't remember anything different. I do applaud you though, not one mention of "climate change" as the culprit. The 1862 floods happened 60 yrs after the start of the industrial revolution and well before automobiles so perhaps "climate change" has nothing to do with anything.

Big storms coming here instead of to the East coast or to Europe depend of the location of the upper level Jet Stream. It is a natural phenomenon of weather year around and not climate change that causes it on a natural basis. This kind of weather is what is the norm. It is the droughts going on for ten years or more that is unprecedented.

I can only imagine🎼 Dear Tom: first, thank you for bringing this watchmen channel to our attention. I feel like I have been adopted by a whole new family, and even though I don’t know their names, or have even seen their faces, I truly love them all. I was just wondering if you had seen the past video of Ross’-new news video? In it he states at the end that he feels that what he came to do is now completed. It’s finished. And now like the rest of us he’s waiting but the difference is he’s not hoping and praying that the rapture will be today tomorrow next week. He’s content to know that God gave him this life and he is going to continue to live at the best he can without any thoughts of what tomorrow may bring. It definitely got me thinking that personally, I need to do the same live my life to the fall know that Jesus loves me as much as I love him and that one day we will be together just wondering what your thoughts were on this subject , God bless you and your family to the moon and back.

It would not have been possible to run computers and our tv’s did not have power either during many big storms! It is also times like then and now that gas stoves are important for feeding your families! No power, no electricity! And yes, you can down load jigsaw puzzles on your computer games app! I see them all the time! They are pictures usually found in a box with the picture on the box. It is cut up into all different shapes and you and your family can work together to build the picture in a table, cutting board, if big enough, or on your computer now. Those I’ve seen were free on your apps. They are good fun! Uh, only use clean snow, no yellow snow, for snow ice cream! Bowl of snow, add sugar and milk, and vanilla or other flavor and maybe some fruit 🍌! Or snow and orange juice or flavors for a snow cone! 😁🤗💕
