I love these recommendations, so many new authors for me. I’m excited to dive in.

Thank you, Jessica! 👍your recommendtions are always on point! By the way, do you or anyone reading this comment happen to know of any historial romance novel with Elizabeth Gaskell's North and South trope? Or Pride and Prejudice, for that matter. I mean, H proposes, h rejectes him but later falls in love with him by knowing him better and suffers because she thinks he thinks ill of her, which, of course, is not true. Too specific? 😅 I love this trope, but I don't find it very often. Any suggestion? Thank you! 🙋♀️

I'd love this troupe.. Did you find any?
@puv67862 жыл бұрын
@@deiondrarobinson9121 Unfortunately, not yet. The arranged marriage trope may be the one that resemble this the most in the sense that almost always the H is already in love with the h and she comes to the marriage against her will and being hostile to him (but, of course, she ends up loving him to the moon and back). But no, I'm yet to find a novel in which she really doesn't know the state of his heart or his affairs and even has to grovel a little. But I'm still looking! 😉

Awesome recs! I love that you included Indie authors like Nicola Davidson and Grace Callaway. Also, not surprised to see the queens Lisa Kleypas and Lorraine Heath on this list more than once. :)

These look awesome! Can't wait to try the ones I haven't read yet. Definitely gonna pick up A Knight in Shining Armor. But I wanted to let you know that Say Yes to the Marquess you got reversed! She wants out of the engagement, and he is convinced he has to make sure that she marries his brother even though he is in love with her! It makes it soooo much better when they finally get their HEA!

I guess nothing can be just better than 'Storm And Silence' by Robert Their for me. It is the one and only historical romance series that kept me hooked up! Do try it. It is just spiffing!!!

I also don't know of you've heard of a book called Storm and Silence by Rob Thier. It's a Historical Romance with a mix of Action and thrillers and it's soo good that was my FIRST Historical romance a couple of years ago. I'm sure you'd love it

I read A Knight in Shining Armor ages ago. It always stuck out in my mind because the heroine's first name is Douglass. Just another book that I read years ago that Jenn and you have helped me to rediscover because I can never remember titles! Thank you for all the assistance, not to mention great new (to be read) and old (to be re-read) recommendations.

I think it’s been about 15 years since I’ve read a historical romance, but some of these sound really good. I think I’ll be picking some of these up!

I finished The Lion’s Lady. I loved the heroine. She was completely different and I loved how protective both the hero and heroine were with each other.

I've added all those to my TBR like I can't get enough at all. My TBR keeps getting longer and my other books are like: What the heck are you doing? 😃

If you're interested in medieval romances you should try Elizabeth Chadwick. That's what she's known for and they're really good.

Hey Jessica do you have any historical romance love triangle recommendations

For "good parents" I definitely recommend Falling Into Bed with a Duke by Lorraine Heath. Parents are not a big part of the story but after reading this book I distinctly remember thinking that the parents were so great in this one. Also I love the book itself. I also agree that some of the new Tessa Dare's book do not get the hype. E.g. Do you want to start a scandal (the hero is actually the 8 yrs fiance from the book you mentioned) is actually a book that convinced me to give T. Dare another change after DNFing 2 of her books.

Hello from British Columbia Canada 🇨🇦👋👍♥️😎🎨🖌🐕🐾🐾🦋. Knight in Shining Armour, my favourite Jude Deveraux time travel ( there's one set earlier castle in Scotland or the borders and one in american west cowboy). Lauren Willig, HR/ contemporary series " The Secret History of the Pink Carnation " has bi-racial characters,( I can't remember which book/s)...but really funny entertaining series.
