Die Historische Maisernte fand dieses Jahr zum dritten Mal in Gebrazhofen statt, allerdings nur inoffiziell da es sonst alle zwei Jahre stattfinden würde. Zu sehen sind einige Youngtimer wie Case IH 1455XL, Same, Deutz Intrac, Eicher, Schlüter, MB trac 1500 sowie mehrere Einreihen- Maishäcksler von Mengele und Deutz-Fahr und ein Dreireihen- Maishäcksler von Mengele

Der Intrac hätte sich ja ansich besser auf dem Silo zum Mais schieben gemacht, aber trotzdem tolles Video. :D

Ich glaube an diesen historischen maishaeckseln, war der caseih 1455xl die stärkste Maschine mit dem 3 Reiher mengele mh 30.

Historic Maize harvest ! ?? wow -my parent's generation have a lot to answer for then! The opening of the field by pulling the trailer +ractor backwards by the forager - WOULD NOT HAVE BEEN APPROVED OF !!!!! Why not I ask - looked like fun - but needs some skill - just like towing the smaller Deuts behind the Intrac to fill a single wagon. Gives a new potential meaning to remote control etc. MenschensKinder, du! NOT A single Massey, Deere / Lanz or even a Fahr to be seen in the field - but I did like the Schluters. Thanks for showing

Cooles video ich liebe alte landmaschinen aber ich versteh nicht ganz warum die beiden einreiher mit einem schlupf verbunden sind kann mir das von euch jemand erklären?

Damit die beide auf einen Kipper häckseln können, sollten die einen gleichmäßigen Abstand halten. Und außerdem kann der hintere kleinere Deutz dann im Leerlauf mit voller Leistung auf der Zapfwelle häckseln, das Ziehen übernimmt der viel stärkere Intrac, der so oder so nicht Vollgas häckseln kann, weil er dann wie gesagt dem kleinen Deutz davonfahren würde.

I don’t understand the driving backwards ? In the US we had tractor, pulling chopper 2 rows, pulling a silage wagon. More economical than 2 tractors.. thank you for the video, I thoroughly enjoy them.

hello mister perry leeds! In this viedeo old tractors are put on show, that's why the event is called historic farming. I would like to explain the reason why a series is getting backwards. The maize fields are divided in the middle because with the old technology a turning on the field with trailers is easier. That's why sometimes the first ride is pulled backwards through the field. the tractor with the "chipper" shredder has a so-called "backdrive system". the steering wheel and the driver's seat can be turned in the other direction of travel. This makes it possible in the old technology to lift a heavy "chipper" and drive. After the maize harvest, the "chipper" is dismantled and the driver's seat and steering wheel are turned over. thus the tractor is again to be used for light fieldwork. all this technique is no longer used but this way of working is still shown in the historic farming. corn harvesting is done the same way today as it is in the us. This technique was only applied to small farms. nice greetings to the us

Christian Kulnig thank you for explaining Christian, now it makes perfect sense. We would like to attend those historic farm event, is the public welcome? If so, what are the dates of the event? BTW: when I was young my father bought a 6206 Duetz 2 wheel drive tractor, I think that was the model. It was one of the best tractors in our small fleet of Fords that we farmed 1,200 acres with. I miss those days, I’m 60 now, so I appreciate a simpler way of life on the farm. Keep up the good work, we appreciate your videos.

@@perryleeds8260 good evening ;-) I understand how you enjoyed your childhood on your farm. Agriculture has changed a lot globally. However, it is nice to admire the old technology. Every country has its agricultural machinery manufacturers with very good old technology. Now it is important to preserve this old technology and to preserve it for the young generation. I can recommend you a very good event where you can admire many techniques. I myself am from Austria and I like traveling in Germany to admire historic farming. Austria is often confused with Australia ;-) I recommend this event. find out more about this website and this link on youtube. I send it to you.
