3:07 Take it from someone who has actually been exposed to CS tear gas/riot gas when in training with the US Army, tear gas doesn't just irritate your lungs, making it hard to breathe. It makes you feel like your lungs are burning, it makes your eyes water uncontrollably, in many cases, you throw up, your skin tingles like you're being poked with needle all over, all at once. The gas sticks to your clothing so you have to change out of them and wash them thoroughly In other words, you're not going to be walking through it in just a respirator and not feel anything It's been 30 years since I was gasses and I still remember it

dragonweyr44 For sure! He wouldn’t be walking through there in the real world with just a t-shirt and a gas mask. I’ve been exposed to OC which was bad enough, that burns too, skin, eyes, everything. CS is much more severe. I was also shot with a bean bag shot gun round once too but that’s a story for another time haha

@@JLSComics I served in the US military and whenever someone depicts military actions wrong theat, for me, is easy to spot, it really ticks me off My biggest pet peeve is when a "soldier" is getting ready to throw a hand grenade and he pulls out the pin with his teeth. For one thing that everybody gets wrong is that there are always two safety pins on a grenade, the pin everyone pulls out and a metal wire wrapped around the grenade that has to be twisted off first, like on a loaf of bread Then the ringed cotter pin on top which takes about 8 pounds per square inch to pull out, it doesn't sound like much, but if you try to pull it out with your teeth, you'll need a dentist afterwards

Yes! Yes! I often said to myself. When the Bond People were looking for their New Bond. They had to have Chuckles as an inspiration for the New James Bond. And Daniel Craig fit the bill and did a hell of a Job! {Even down to Chuckles physicality/ Craig pulled it off!} That's one hell of an eye. Not many remember Chuckles from the 80's Gi Joe. He came at the end of their strong run/ Well Done!

Chuckles is just a character they created for the original animated movie as a wink and nod to Don Johnson’s Miami Vice character Sonny Crockett since he was the voice of Falcon.

Archie Rival this is correct! I skipped over the “non-canon” period and stuck with Hama-verse stories. But yeah, he did have an up where he got to cobra commander’s side and shit him in the head. It’s a pretty epic panel with the big “BLAM” in the background

If the Chuckles movie is based on the IDW Chuck Dixon story were Chuckles goes undercover in Cobra to kill Cobra Commander that movie could be good. But Hollywood fucks this type of stuff up all the time.

I wish I knew why (I’m now aware why Snake Eyes never speaks, let alone never shows his face - his face got scarred, from the shrapnel of some explosion, which additionally damaged his vocals). Websites, regarding Snake Eyes, are (rhyme unintended) right - he *is* incapable of speech.

Holy crap Issue 60 is always drawn by Todd McFarlane so that's a valuable issue, if people don't know Todd is know later for doing Spiderman and spawn empire, I knew it was Todd's art because one of the signatures of Todd's style is fat fingers and thumbs when u see that its a Todd McFarlane comic book

Another example of G.I. Joe figures with very few accessories are the Toxo-Zombies, from 1992 - the second (and final) wave of the Eco Warriors team (the same identities / are alter egos of 1988’s Toxo-Vipers, after they fall into toxic waste, which mutates them into zombies, hence the code names). The reason for them having very few accessories could be they’re zombies, hence don’t have the strength to hold that many weapons. Rest assured I’m talking on subject of how you feel about Chuckles having very few accessories - just wanted to say that he’s not the only carded figure, in the 1982-1994 Hasbro 3 3/4 toy line, to have very few accessories.

Chuckles had sparse accessories, but he had a super cool shoulder-holster that held his hand gun perfectly which looked awesome and realistic. I loved his code name as it describes his personality and easy going but tough/sarcastic charismatic nature imo. A double sided holster strap with dual matching guns would have been double the fun! Or even add a fake mask like Zartans with a briefcase to hide/hold it so he can infiltrate in his special covert intel ops. That would have been sweet too!

What about Fumbles??? ... 😁... Chuckles was okay but as a US Army veteran, 4yr MP I found his background, MOS, rank way off. Chuckles would have been a E-6/E-7 NCO not a E-5. Either that or more likely a Warrant Officer. WO2 CWO3 etc. Warrant Officers are not commissioned but have special skill sets. The CIDC is real. It's now based at Quantico VA. The .45acp Commander & Magnum PI shirts are a bit dated too...

Chuckles?? Seriously THE G.I. JOE FILM SHOULD BE CENTERED ON ZARTAN and the Dreadknocks WHO WHERE IN THE MAJORITY OF THE 1982 start- SEASON 1 AND 2 CARTOONS. Cobra commanders #1 hired aide. Storm SHADOW, Snake Eyes OVERRATED. out of 80 cartoon episodes, Storm and snake was about in a whooping 7! ZARTAN 75 episodes out of 80! He is the most important figure and deserves a movie. Yo Joe :)
