I really wish someone would write a sitcom-type series featuring Copperhead, Firefly, Scrap Iron, Wild Weasle, and Zarana doing stuff together. Idk why, but ever since the Phoenix Guard and the story involving Firefly, Scrap-Iron, and Copperhead in the van, I can’t help but seeing them all hanging out and doing stuff together.

Always a favorite of mine as a kid. Like so many of the Joe and Cobra characters. It seems like ones that you saw less frequently sometimes became favorites because you could more easily fill in your own adventures. The Stinger Driver was another of my favorites. Their file card photos had a lot of character in the faces, too. Well, what you saw of them.

The Water Moccasin and Copperhead were my first Joe vehicle and figure combo. Loved it but the boat didn't float. The water came in where the top/bottom seam.

Also could you, at a later date, go into detail of certain "Joes" different skill set that are the same genre?.... for instance... Snow Job, Iceburg, and Frostbite are all "Snow Joes". Torpedo and Wetsuit are both S.E.A.Ls, and Gung-Ho and Leatherneck are both Marines.

The thing I don't understand about the SEAL Joes is SEALs, Rangers, Green Berets and other spec ops groups like them act solely as teams, not individuals like the Joes do and I don't understand that In fact, ALL military units work more as teams rater than individuals that the Joes do

I think Copperhead was default head of Cobra's brown water navy. I can't think of any named character with a higher position in that division until you get to high command (Destro, Baroness, CC) . The standard crimson guard would be like a special forces enlisted man. Where Copperhead would be something like an officer in the navy.

Dear JLS, just as curiosity: in Brazil all G.I.Joe characters had their names and background stories changed. For example: Snake-Eyes was presented was a Cobra agent named "Cobra Invasor" which means 'Cobra Invader in series 1, Storm Shadow was called "Ice Cobra" ("Cobra do Gelo" in portuguese) and so on. Some times it was made in order to mix the characters profiles with brazilian reality but some times there where no reason at all.

The Water Moccasin barely floated, so I hardly ever played with it, but Copperhead was a cool early Cobra. His color scheme and looked great with many of the Cobra vehicles and play sets. Weird that he was never really part of the Marvel Comics continuity. I would have based a few stories on him. I guess Croc Master was who Larry chose to have gator affiliation with.

It almost makes me wonder if its some kind of revenge against the franchises from the 80's since thats the last decade before political correctness was firmly established. A political move, like tearing down monuments, burning books,etc. "Hey...these 80's franchises are too recent...too good of a reminder of the days before PC, lets erase some of the meanie factions, and have women take the role of some of the more established masculine characters, southerners are evil, so lets disenfranchise them more by changing accents/geographic backgrounds of certain characters, then reboot the series!" The way all this keeps accelerating, sometimes makes me wish the sun would hurry the hell up and explode already...
