One reason I love rat rods is because they show so much personality! I want to come out to Huntington Beach just for a car weekend.

These machines can’t be crappy like some think, to be able to pass inspections and be able to get down the road the way they do. I admire the builders, the stylingthought, the engineering thought, and the fun they have with them! I had a 33b like the green one when I was growing up.Built the flattie in winter garage.

Awesome. I am glad I found your channel by luck. I like bj your Rat rods. Here in South Florida, guys are building what they call Rat Rods.NOT ! I call them Halloween cars. I'm building one a mainly 54 Chevy. I call it O'l Beater. I would like to show you pictures.
@motordrivenfilms8783 жыл бұрын
I’ll Beater sounds like a great build. Be sure to share some finished pics with us! Not that we ever call them finished. Lol. 😜
@juanbarturen27263 жыл бұрын
How can I sen you pictures? The O'l Beater as been an on and off project. Laid dormant in my garage for close to 30 years. Now I retired from AA airlines. It's taking shape. Not as pretty garage truck. But now a flat black rustoleum fun vehicle built with what ever. Even an aluminum airboat gas tank found in the everglades

When you own a salvage yard, then building a (rat rod) is easy and cheap. If not, the rat rod will cost you $20grand. That's the cheapest amount in parts to build that I could come up with where I live. And that's not including the boy all the parts are attached to. After all of that, then you have to have a place to build it and all the tools necessary. These aren't cheap by any means. Anything that rolls down the roadway legally is expensive.
