Of the five ships that sailed on Magellan's expedition, the only ship that I always remembered was Victoria ship. It's because it was the only ship that returns to Spain after Magellan was defeated on Mactan Island. I always remembered this ship because my AP teacher at that time repeatedly told us that this ship was the only one that circumnavigated the world. Victoria leaves a remarkable role in our history. I am very grateful of knowing more information about this significant ship in our history. Thank you so much again Sir Danny.

From the name itself "Victoria" resonates with so many memories, history, values, and honor. Such a great opportunity, that I was able to acquire a clearer understanding of this ship, it's a bittersweet memory because it ended so tragic yet very sentimental. This is an eye-opener for me that this kind of documentary or discussion is timeless and essential. It could've been boring during high school but upon watching this I was in awe because of gaining more knowledge.

It is truly impressive how the ship “Victoria” was the first ship that circumnavigated the globe and played a major role in history of Magellan’s voyage thus marked as one of the famous expedition in history. It is also fascinating how the ship has more story, journey and discoveries it uncovered. Thank you once again Sir Danny Gerona for this insightful video.

Prior to watching this video, I only had a surface knowledge towards the ship “Victoria”; learning more about it from this informative video truly astonished me. As far as I can recall, the topic has already been introduced to me during my elementary years, but I wasn't enthusiastic enough to know about it deeply; With this, I had a constant perception that the ship “Victoria” is simply just another vehicle used in the expedition of Magellan. Upon absorbing the knowledge shared in this video, the ship's accomplishment grieved me; considering that it is the only ship that was able to send back to Spain the survivor from the expedition. Learning history is something we should be invested in, the occurrences from the past truly have a significant influence on what we have in the present. Thank you, Sir Danny!

Thank you, Sir Gerona, for this episode. I was surprised by how detailed your video was. I gathered a lot of previously unknown details from the ship's inception to its tragic end. I discovered that it wasn't a brand new ship, but it made it around the world and was the only one to return to Spain. Victoria did, in fact, play an important part during Magellan's journey and in our history in general, and this video made me appreciate it even more.

After watching this video, I gained new knowledge that can aid me in delving deeper into the larger picture of history, especially the expedition of Magellan. It amazes me how Victoria survived and continued to sail all those years. It's not just a means of transportation rather, it became an avenue for new discoveries and fantastic history that turned us into the people we are today. The ship, Victoria, has been a witness to a variety of amazing stories worth telling.

Thanks to the document that was founded by a researcher, Fernando Aguirre Aramaio, because of it the unanswered questions regarding the famous ship was enlightened. Victoria - the ship who travelled around the world, and the only one from the 5 ships, who successfully returned home. This episode of History from the Archive was all about the history of the ship that circumnavigated the world, Victoria. Sir Danny clearly explained the connections of the collected documents from the past and also from other historians about the entry of Victoria in Spain, its journey around the world, and the unfortunate exit of it from the world. I was again thankful for this informative channel, which it widens our knowledge about history.👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾

Thank you, Sir Danny, for this episode. I used to memorize the five ships used by Magellan in their expedition during my elementary days, but I had no idea that the ship named "Victoria" was the only one that survived and returned to Spain after they circumnavigated the world. I'm grateful I was able to learn more about the ship and its tragic ending. I will definitely tell my family and friends, especially my younger cousins, about how the ship Victoria played a significant role in Magellan's journey and in our history in general.

I remember watching a movie that involved traveling the entire world within 80 days. The movie involved traveling through different methods of transporting, but the Victoria was just a carrack that went through the different situations of the seas and still managed to circumnavigate the world. It is unfortunate to know that the Victoria received the same tragic end as most ships out in the sea, yet despite that, the ship has already been planted in history. The Victoria may have died in the sea but the memory still lives on in historical records. Another splendid work, sir Gerona.

I found out that it wasn't a brand new ship, but it managed to round the globe and was the only one to make it back to Spain. Victoria did, in fact, play a significant role throughout Magellan's trip and in our history as a whole, and this film helped me appreciate it even more.

I've heard about the ships Magellan used to sail together with his loyalists on their voyage since I was in elementary but only had limited knowledge and sources about it. The survivors were lucky enough to successfully circumnavigate the Victoria vessel since it might have created a great mystery regarding their voyage if it did not successfully got its way back and did not have any sources of information through the perspective of a person within the expedition. Again, Thank you so much for sharing significant information regarding the history! It is such an honor to be one of the people being able to access to a reliable source like this po.

This episode of History from the Archives entitled “VICTORIA, The Ship that Circumnavigated the World” explained and provided us the ship’s historical facts, its origin and the manner of its acquisition by the King of Spain. I am amazed by the thought that the ship played such a significant part in history, knowing that it was the first ship to successfully circumnavigate the globe and was the second most expensive of the ships of the expedition.

Thank you, sir Danny Gerona and HFA team for this informative video content! Indeed, the Victoria, one of the most renowned ships in navigation history, was the only one of the five vessels of the Magellan expedition to successfully complete the world's circumnavigation. Despite its worldwide fame, nearly nothing is known regarding its origin or destiny following its return to Spain. Thankfully, owing to this episode of History from the Archives, I was able to understand and learned its actual narrative - from the origin of the ship to its tragic ending.

This episode is fantastic! It described Victoria in a more detailed way that helped me understand and increase what I have learned in my early school years. This type of topic is something that our old teachers did not discuss with us thoroughly, and gladly Mr. Danny Gerona shared his learnings with us, who could not witness the information and details personally. This is such a big help for us; it is said that the ship sunk, but at least the data and its story were shared with us.

Sir Danny, thank you for your educational video. I recall our history lesson discussing the five ships that were utilized in the trip, but there was no detailed explanation or discussion. I gained a lot of knowledge in this video, particularly about the boat Victoria, which circumnavigates the world. The boat has many stories to tell about its construction, bidding, and terrible end. Despite these events, Victoria has left an indelible impression on our history. Finally, the video makes me respect people's craftsmanship even more, because you can already see through the Victoria's boat their technique and cultures.

I would like to thank Mr. Danny Gerona for sharing this valuable information about the ship who circumnavigate and also brought a history in our world. As I watched the episode I realized that ordinary equipment used by the people who is part of historical values in the country or rather in the world was not being emphasized further during historical discussions. This video was so informative and brought a lot of learning about the Victoria Ship which is one of the big part on the expedition of Magellan. Also, It is important that we recognized the origin and the ending of the historical equipment since it was still big part of our history, knowing the whole story of the ship, though it was in shortened version, brought me another valuable knowledge or trivia about history.

This episode provided us the basic information regarding the etymology of the ship, how it was acquired by the King, previous owners, and its purpose. Thank you sir of this very informative episode.

Thank you so much Sir Gerona for this content. I learnt more about one of the expedition's most essential features: the ship that became famous in history for being the only one to bring the expedition's survivors to Spain after they had traveled around the world and circumnavigated the globe. While the ship Victoria is well-known in history, little is known about it. I learned about the ship Victoria's history and its role in the Magellan voyage. I also discovered how it was destroyed.

The primary source from Fernando Aguirre Aramaio was highly significant in answering the questions that surrounds the origin of the Victoria. It really shows how primary sources are extremely essential in studying and completing the missing puzzle pieces of history. With this, thank you po again, Mr. Gerona and the entire HFA team for sharing another substantial material to us.

Thank you for another great and informative video, Sir Gerona. I was astound with the origin of this remarkable famous ship, Victoria. I have known this ship as something valuable on our history, however I didn't know its past information. Watching this video made me see that this one of a kind ship really deserves the honor and how we are amazed by it. There could have been more places that this ship would have sailed, however its fair well happened. The history of this ship will always be significant as it is one of the 5 ships used in the expeditions.

I knew that a ship is important in expeditions, but I did not expect that this ship contributed so much to Magellan's expeditions. The ship was truly a masterpiece and would go down in the history books for years to come. I will always remember the ship named "Victoria" for it is one of the ships that I will probably never forget in my life time since I don't come across a lot of ships that have a name and a fully nourished history . Thank you for this video Mr Danny Gerano and to everyone who is reading this

Watching this episode about the Victoria reminds me of many araling panlipunan class discussions from my elementary school days. Our teacher used to have us memorize the five ships used in Ferdinand Magellan's voyage, which clearly included the Victoria, but after viewing this video today, I've realized that the information that was provided with us previously was quite limited. Thankfully, with the help of the information given by Mr. Danny Gerona in this episode, it filled in the blanks and broadened my understanding, particularly on the Victoria, the ship that circumnavigated the world.

After I watched the video, the ship, Victoria has a big part in our history. It’s not simply a method for transportation rather, it contributed to the innovation of the world and became an avenue for new discoveries. It might have been destroyed and transformed into hundred pieces but it had heritage and eminent history that we can share to future generations. Thank you sir for another amazing video!

In this episode, I gained new knowledge and appreciation of the role of the ship Victoria in history, specifically in the Magellan Expedition. Whenever we discuss the voyager Magellan, the word "Victoria" comes into my mind, which I vaguely remember. With this video, I learned an in-depth story behind the ship. I am curious about what more mystery it can reveal about our history if it did not sink. It is sad to know how it grievously ended, but I am amazed at how it circumnavigated around the world. Thank you for this, Sir Danny.

Learning about history is indeed compelling. The story of Victoria, the only ship that successfully circumnavigated the world, was like a story we usually encounter in movies. Its history captures my attention, and it even makes me want to learn more about it. Thank you for another worthwhile talk, sir! We always appreciate this.

Kudos to this episode! It helped me to acquire information about the ship that they have used during the expedition of Magellan specifically the Victoria. I was amazed by the fact that there are 5 ships but only the Victoria ship was able to survive in the expedition and has completed the circumnavigation. This episode focuses on the Victoria ship which helped me to acquire knowledge about the ship since I do not have that much of information about the ships used in the expedition. Thank you for this wonderful, informative video .

I would like to thank Sir Danny and the rest of the team for this informative video discussing the historic ship that was used during the Magellan expedition, the ship Victoria. I have heard about the ship Victoria back when I was in elementary, however, my knowledge about it was very limited. Through this video, I was able to learn new and significant information about this historic ship. I learned about the historical significance of this ship in the context of the Magellan expedition as the only ship that brought home the survivors of the expedition after circumnavigating the world. Aside from this, I also learned about its origin, how it was acquired by the king of Spain, its role in the expedition, how it was used after the expedition, and how the magnificent Victoria exited in history. The ship Victoria has a significant role in history, therefore it should be given enough recognition and value in the study of history.

First of all, thank you so much Sir Danny Gerona for this informative video. To be honest I did not know any of the names of the ships that were used during Magellan's expedition until I watched this video. I learned that Victoria is one of the five ships, and it managed to return to Spain with a shipload of spices, the value of which was greater than the cost of the entire original fleet. Furthermore, I think this ship needs more recognition because it is an important part of our history.

It is really impressive how Victoria became so instrumental not only in the history of the Philippines but in the circumnavigation of the world. Being the only 1 to return to Spain out of all the 5 ships, Victoria really is notable in the voyage of Magellan and his crew. This video enlightened me about the ship's history and how it tragically ended in a shipwreck. Specifically, I now who it was named after and what happened to it after completing its journey back to Spain. This video really made me wonder what it would be like to see the ship in real life if only it survived and kept preserved by the authority. Thank you, Sir Danny for another wonderful and informative video.

Truly, sometimes nothing tells a better story than that of the remains of what historical people use of the current time, and this time, the Victoria ship's story brought again, information that gives more in depth 'behind the scenes' from the famous voyage around the world. Especially that without a vehicle as magnificent as this, a large portion of our history would not have been uncovered, and a lot of the attempted voyages would have been futile. It reminds me of other tragic ships that met its end, along with the people on it, that causes for it to be forgotten by the world, but it's amazing to see Victoria prevail, and even when it ended on that note, it still brought forth one of the most successful trips that lead to us discover more of the world, the circumnavigation that made us know more of the world that we live in, unlike any other years passed.

It is priceless. Just like the Victoria ship, It manifests marvelous stories even if it experienced mishaps and its' misfortunate fate. The ship being valuable deserves to be preserved and kept, yet it is so sad that people during those years did not realize the value and the importance of conserving it.

I'm happy to be informed about the backstory of Victoria. The thought of it sailing and surviving the seas as it circumnavigated the world definitely amazes me. If I were alive during those times, I would also join Esteban Centurion in the public bidding of the ship. Victoria held and still holds such great value (despite its tragic ending of being a shipwreck), considering the fact that it was the lone transport survivor in the journey.

To be completely honest, this is my first time hearing the word "Ship Victoria," or perhaps I've forgotten about it. However, the manner in which this video revealed and demonstrated its origin astounded me. I'm amazed that a ship constructed before technological advancements could be as sturdy as a rock. The ship Victoria was also acquired cheaply, but its contribution to history is priceless. Furthermore, the ship's crew was able to return to Spain safely after the expedition and heavy utilization. Thus, this ship is truly remarkable and magnificent. It has been labeled as "the ship of history", and I couldn't agree more. Once again, I want to express my gratitude to Sir Danny for this amazing and knowledgeable video material!

This reminded me of the scope of history and how it involves not just historical events and personalities, but also the equipment they used and the transactions required to acquire these historically significant artifacts. Similarly, I discovered how little I knew about Ferdinand Magellan's journey via this video; while the ship's name "Victoria" is familiar as a result of the previous studies, I was oblivious of its importance. Following my viewing of this video, I determined that this ship provided me with a greater knowledge of the ship that circumnavigated the world. The ship's beginnings, how it was acquired, how it was sold cheaply, and how they appeared to be unaware of the ship's value until the monarch decided to put it up for public auction. It's quite fascinating how much more there is to it than we know. Although it was not a spanking new vessel, it circumnavigated the world and was the only one to return to Spain successfully. Indeed, Victoria made a big contribution to Magellan's expedition and to our collective history, and this video strengthened my respect for that role. Throughout these decades, I developed a higher respect for superior craftsmanship. It astounds me that, despite obsolete technology and machinery, they were still able to create a ship like Victoria that could resist harsh weather and years of voyaging over the world's oceans only due to the manpower and abilities of its personnel. Above all, I want to express my gratitude to Sir Danny for delivering another wealth of enriched information to each of us who saw this lecture.
