In fact, Go Seigen's name was not originally Wu Qinq Yuan, he was born Wu Quan, he was called Qing Yuan later. (Qing Yuan is a "courtesy name" bestowed on an adult)

Fun fact The go Master movie that is essentially a documentary of goseigan's life is very difficult to find. I have one of the few copies that I've ever seen still around. Otherwise it sells for like $90 on Amazon

@@user-yc3fw6vq5n it was blocked by Chinese government because they consider go siegen a social peria because he abandoned them to play in Japan. Japan doesn't think it's a necessary movie due to stigma over go seigen beating all their top players. And america it just never got noticed
