Accounting is the essential building block of the scientific method and developments in logic there after. We owe much of our understanding of physics to developing accounting principles first.

Excellent question! What I am hoping for (but not sure of whether it will happen) is more global convergence of accounting standards (IFRS and US GAAP) kzbin.info/www/bejne/bXOcZ4CehKyUp6c and more focus on GAAP-based reporting instead of the proliferation of non-GAAP metrics kzbin.info/www/bejne/m6jdnZqkfNmZo8k Time will tell whether this will actually happen.

could you give me all the names of the map please?
@TheFinanceStoryteller
@TheFinanceStoryteller 5 жыл бұрын
There are several maps in the video: ancient Middle East, Middle Ages Italy, the Netherlands, England, Silicon Valley. I assume you are referring to the regional names on the ancient Middle East map: Anatolia top left (North West), Assyria / Phoenicia / Mesopotamia in the pink "Fertile Crescent" area, then Media to the East, and Egypt to the South.

Every thing is happened in UK area only ? In India In Maurya Empire, The Great Aacharya Chanakya Wrote one book named "Kautiley Arthshastra" (Arthshastra Means Economics) where he gave details of Accounting... Half knowledge is dangerous

Thanks for the reading suggestion! If you watch the video closely, you will find out that I never suggested the history of accounting happened in the UK only. Along the way, I discuss Mesopotamia, Assyria, Phoenicia, Sumeria, Egypt, Italy, the Netherlands, and the US as well.
