Hahaha, how did you find out about the "six paths" name, Fear must of told you..very hype times during Pain's invasion of Konoha. -the regice on that team was in fact restalk (remember old mechs made restalk really strong in nb) -husk 1 team was called "peruvian skies" and the claydol was in fact hp fire to chip skarm. With a zap that had 252 hp/100 def to tank aero (always a wow factor to see husk's zap tank, made him seem invincible) -i lost to vil's liquid flame in the aeturnus final advance tour in quarters. I had the lead up to the point where his metagross subbed on a switch and that gave him a leg up on me (hp fire sub mash boom)! Keep up the amazing work! Absolutely loved this one! Took me way back!

This was really fun, but man I keep wishing someone would cover 200. It was such a wild metagame, made even moreso by the fact that we didn't really know what was and wasn't good. Silk Scarf Zangoose was really common, which says a lot about how much changed in the transition. Really hope it gets covered eventually.

Some teams I never thought I'd see again. I remember battling IPL when he was using that skarm zapdos starmie stall team and lucking him out for a win. iirc it was resttalk skarm with max sdef, which was not at all common. Also remember using that first husk team with regice, cb meta (I think he posted it on the forums) against husk himself and losing. Fun times.

boahtar was conceived by chaos and jumpman16, i think the story of a guy spamming BOAH in chat inspiring the name is true but its been so long. there were a lot of smaller communities back then that hosted their own server, smogon and pokerealm were the two biggest english servers but there was also a brazillian server that had almost as many users as the smogon one
