I adore her and find what she is doing is essential to all black research. As a black American we need to know more about Africa from a black narrative

Absolutely love this! There is a wave of change truth happening about the truth of our history and we should all band together knowing this and to create a louder voice for us and ours. Thank you for this Bryan! Will definitely share it!

I love the series, but stopped to watch them because it seems that she is very subjective or do not know the history well. E.g. about Congo and king Leopold - that's Americans who were trying to stop atrocities there for many years. This was not smth that was not noticed and not known in Europe and the US. About Zulu wars - she is completely forgetting that Zulu were fighting mostly against other natives and they were very cruel at that (which was completely normal for such kind of wars then). So, Shaka was like a mini-African Genghis Khan, I do not know how positive it is. Even his grave she is telling about - most probably it is not his grave. Atrocities of mao-mao - they were atrocities in all senses, as the British atrocities against them. Can not just say that bullets and bullets. So all this and that... History is history, it should be maximally true, it is not like you can correct it bending it in other direction, and this way the history written by westerners can become true history.

....Do more research...Oleg..fully..the impact of Euro rule..and the riches that all Euro and American wealth comes from the Continent of Africa..and the audacity to just take rather than to partner..is terribly unsettling...Britain will "loan" what they stole from.the countries? Blood diamonds..Africans doing the slave work were not paid!!
