If only Asphalt kept to its roots. Personally, I like the original's physics model where you need to actually drive and follow a good racing line instead of drifting all over the place in a twitchy manner. But, hey, I gotta' admit that GL made a genuinely fun core gameplay mechanic in 8... which is sadly buried under layers upon layers of monetisation. You know, I'd totally shell 60$ for a fully-featured Asphalt 8 w/o any microtransactions. :/

Asphalt 6, injection, 7 where the best mobile racing you get an play! I mess the way in-game cash bonus you'll find on the track but Asphalt 8: Airborne just became the Ass in Gameloft Assphalt by removing those cash bonuses you find on the city race track 6, injection and 7. Its still gives the meaning to Pay-To-Win we see today console, PC/Mac an mobile.!

would it be awesome to have Asphalt and Real Racing on consoles? EA and Gameloft really should try it, at least as a PSN and Xbox Live title. Both game have great gameplay and graphics, they can be a serious contender to AAA games like Need for Speed, Forza, and Gran Turismo

Henry Rahardja I have to respectfully disagree. Asphalt is a mildly entertaining mobile series. Mostly okay-ish games, but not exceptional and in terms of production values, driving physics, track design, presentation, balancing, etc. they can not compete with console and PC racing games. They only sell (or sell microtransactions), because there are so few decent racing games on mobile devices. Note that there was only one Asphalt game for the PSP (which got abysmal reviews), because this mobile console had a plethora of excellent racing games that Gameloft could have never successfully competed with.
