Dear bro kachari Kingdom represent as dimasa Kingdom because of its occupance till date but not as Boro kachari ,but they take advantage,because of no history record, they made their own history, I'm very surprised to hear that we're from China from Boro kachari, all man made history from Boro side without proof, it is true that dimasa history has been burnt during dimapur Kingdom conflict with Ahom and British Allienze after they shifted to Maibang then to Khaspur(Cacahar) with no Boro population

It was never called kachari kingdom by anyone. The tag was given by bengalis, the kochar or kachar area was initially ruled by koch, they are kochari, that koch royalty capital was kochpur. When he had no sons he married his daughter off to a dimasa prince and so the kochar area came under dimasa control, that's how the kochari kingdom was mistakenly tagged to dimasa kingdom. You should also see from sino-tibetan language point of view, koch hari means koch blood line, referring to koch kingdom and koch people. Dimasa are not koch hari(koch people), the tag was misinterpreted by Britishers, you should understand this. The Dimasas at the time of British arrival took control over kachar area, from the koch kingdom. This is why dimasa kingdom was written down as kachari kingdom by the foreigners, in reality we dimasas were ruling lands that was previously under koch, the kochpur city(kashpur) was also where the koch royalty originally settlement. Historians should correct this mistaken, saying that "after koch royalty of kachar had no son, the marriage between the daughter of kochari king(koch king) and dimasa prince brought the kachar area under the control of timisa kingdom", otherwise people who are not well versed with the chronology of the history in NE will misunderstand. And you mentioned so many kacharii tribes, you should also realize that this history you mentioned is about dimasa. This mentioned tribes didn't live with us, they were independent and lived in their own areas, the kachari tag given mistakenly given to dimasa kingdom, this should also not be mistaken by someone into making others think dimasa kingdom (now tagged as kachari kingdom) as some kind of house of all kachari tribes, this is a very wrong perspective that people will get from your video.

@@theassamscholar and you probably didn't read anything from Burman who is a dimasa himself, where he has also given the lineages of dimasa king has been erroneously linked with kachari(koch). Dimasa king ruled over one of the previously koch owned territory, for that it has been erroneously linked with koch kingdom, the merging of one of the territories of kochari rajya(koch kingdom ) with herambo rajya(dimasa kingdom), this is where in the past the old writers misrepresented dimasa kingdom as kochari kingdom, like as if the whole territory and history of koch people's existence in cachar disappeared

And yes the term bodo group or bodo kacharis as umbrella to group bodo, dimasa, sonowal etc. was done by Hodgson, this was confusing and deeming so many tribes very distinct and different from bodo as a "bodo tribe", so this term was later replaced by another Anthropologist called as Endle, he coined the word "kachari" to address the previously "bodo group". Now talking about kachari kingdom, the history you are talking about is dimasa history and dimasa kingdom. The kachari history will only include the history of herambo kingdom, for herambo or timisa kingdom was misrepresented as koch kingdom. There is another mistake, as you mentioned saying that kacharis are numerous, there was no point in including all those tribes. They have no connection with kachari kingdom, because what we know or are studying as kachari kingdom is actually the herambo kingdom which was misinterpreted as kachari kingdom erroneously. Also because of this error too, linking so many tribes with kachari kingdom and history, is wrong because the kachari kingdom we know is basically herambo kingdom disguised or wrongly named as "kachari kingdom ". In reality, kochari kingdom= koch kingdom= kamata. And the kachari history (koch history) if corrected would include the history of the people who lived in koch kingdom, who are mainly koch(koro), mech(boro), achik(garo). The one we are learning is herambo kingdom (dimasa history), mis-linked as kachari kingdom.

And I'm saying this because I'm also a dimasa person. Learning about the NE's history and talking with different professor. One thing to note is that, the word kachari you will never find in dimasa language, history or in dimasa origin. The dimasa King's name itself was followed by "Raja [king's name] Of Ha-cheng-sa bongsho". And it was the koch king, who addressed themselves as "[King's name] Kosh-ari Raja", and the statement, " Pra ari korosa-ari, jang pari lari lari" and this last one is from is from an ancestral song in the sino-tibetan language of koch, which is almost extinct, spoken by tiny pockets of koch population. The mentions of koch-hari, you only find in koch history and koch people. The native word for my kingdom was dimabong and haremba or harainba by my own dimasa people. Even the neighbors such as the Assamese or the ahoms used the word kochari for koch kingdom historically and timisa for dimasa.

And in one part where you mentioned the "Ha-tsung-tsa"(demra dimasa dialect) or Ha-cheng-sa(hasao dimasa dialect) is dimasa history. The numerous other sister tribes have nothing to do with Ha-cheng-sa, this is only dimasa history. Linking all the chutia, koch, etc with Ha-cheng-sa, what you did there was very wrong. And one thing which was very wrong was using the jwhwlao dwimalu is a boro name. This is a dimasa folklore which was adopted in bodo literature by bodo sathiya sabha, jwhwlao dwimalu is not acceptable by any Dimasa, who's real name comes from our people... you are a KZbinr you create content.. You should at least ask a dimasa scholar or dimasa anthropologist to do a proper research... His name is Dimalik Kemprai (hasao dimasa dialect), Dhemalu(demra dimasa dialect). He is also referred to as Sengyah Dimalik Kemprai.
