My GP when I was a kid had what I am sure was a DB4, it had David Brown Aston Martin badged on the rear and it was glorious; as a lad from North Yorkshire I felt privileged to see it and it sounded astonishing.

Wonderful cars and real things of beauty and best of this bunch the DB 7, the most beautiful car of that era, design perfection.

Skipped over the DB6 . (Longer wheelbase, 2+2; Kamm tail. better aero than DB5. Front half Identical to DB5 ) Paul McCartney had a DB6 and wrote Hey Jude while driving his.

Not much pre-war history here. Aston Hill Climb is not at Aston Clinton, but near Wendover Woods. No mention of the company's 1930s success at Le Mans.
