Porsche is one of the best German companies and one of the best companies in the world for the design of sports vehicles

Man I love Porsche so much. Even as a Lambo fanboy I can admit that Porsche is the best car company. I wish to own one someday in the near future 🤞

My first Porsche I was 18 in 78 I bought a 67 911S that was parked out front of a transmission shop . It didn’t run the owner of the shop had several Porsches and was a weekend racer . I was just a young kid who thought it was a pretty cool car . After rebuilding motor and trans which cost more than I paid for the car I drove the car for couple years before crashing and destroying the car . Back then it was just an old Porsche boy I wish I still had it !

If only they knew. The old guy at the end who said Porsche has abandoned front engine and water cooled engines all together going into the late 90’s probably would have laughed at you if you told him the next 911 would be water cooled and that Porsche would have two different SUV’s and two different 4 door sedans with one being fully electric.

Very true! That said my girls still point out, what I would describe to them as, 'Fake Porsches'. These were the SUV's mainly. I think Porsche sold it's soul when it built the Cayenne and even more so when they put a diesel engine in them! That said, I do like the Porsche Taycan Turbo electric car. I have been very lucky to have owned and enjoyed many air cooled 911 Porsches and hope to for many years to come

22:10 abandoned water cooled and front engine cars. That didn’t age well. But fantastic documentary.

The folk lore surrounding the 911 is remarkable. The 930 was just the internal designation for the turbo project. It wasn't some crazy decision to separate them. Do you know what a Porsche 945 is? A RHD 944! 😂.

Ugh.. I became an adult during the 90's, and to this day I despise that annoying infomertial music they play through this documentary. Music that only a geek hypster in a bright colored nylon jump suite, with a Casio keyboard could produce.

Could the 1963 Porsche 911 pass the crash test? No. Could it pass the emission test? No. So what are we taking about?
