I'm not a Battlefield veteran by far, but I think BF3 is the best game I have ever played! My first taste of Battlefield was with BFBC2 (a great game). I am, however, sorry to admit I converted from CALL of DUTY! Their terrible attempts at modern combat put me off so I chose Battlefield (never regreted it)! BFBC2 is the best modern battlefield (BFBC2 - BF3 - BF4 domain). Really, the BF3's and BF4's engine is a renamed copy of the engine BFBC2 uses. When I started the BF3 multiplayer game for the first time switching from BC2, I couldn't notice the difference until I spotted an enemy jet. Only new thing were the infantry and vehicle perks and obstacles you could jump over, with some mere jets (yeah, the ones that don't even carry the bombs unless you obey the money hungry sons of f*cks and unlock A-10 or SU-25 by buying their stinking DLC). Nothing new in the modern gaming world.

Hope DICE take back the same system as they had in the early battlefield titles. Repair mortars, bridges etc. for commander. And i also want a WWII game from DICE again. Frostbite 3 with HDR audio. Full destructable environments. Hopefully bullet physics and destruction physics and soft body physics for vehicles and terrain physics. I love physics in games, makes things so interesting. Delicious bae Yeah, i like modern combat. But if DICE could bring back the classic type of gameplay and just erase some gamemodes that is not possible for the consoles to handle it would be great. It's really on the edge everytime they release it on consoles to even make it playable with 30-50fps in 900p. Just focus on 100% multiplayer instead of a storymode. I don't mind a vietnam game either.

Battlefield 2 and all it's expansions are still the best IMO. I own BF3 and BF4 and still play BF2 more than either of them put together. BF2 also has some kickass mods. It has 1942 and Vietnam mods, too, so you can basically play BF1942 and BF Vietnam with better graphics. PR, AIX, and Sandbox are freakin awesome, too. BF2 is the best if you ask me! And a lot of people still play online.

As a guy who was born 1990 I think a lot of people in my generation (between 1985-1995) can relate to me when I say that ww2 games is close to my heart. It's the old Medal of honor and call of duty games with ww2 themes that got me interested in games in the first place. It would be a blessing if DICE decided to make Battlefield 5 a ww2 game with the beautiful frostbite engine. I just hope to god that they wont try to copy call of duty with all futuristic shit. I hope EA come to their senses and realize that Star Wars Battlefront will be enough when it comes to releasing sci-fi games to the market. Plz Dice, make a ww2 game and I will open my wallet wider than a hooker with background in ballet dancing. I will throw my money at every DLC and premium deluxe package you send at us. That's something I promise if this happens!

I am so in love with BFBC 2. I wish more Battlefields were like that, it's really THE best Battlefield game I have EVER played. And the best Modern Warfare era FPS I've ever played. Yes, Battlefield 2 was good, but I like BFBC2 better. The sheer amount of fun! The hours upon hours of multiplayer! The amazing multiplayer! The need for cooperation! It was so great. I don't think any Battlefield will be this good again, not with EA's stupid deadlines.

Eduardo Ferreira Bad Company had great atmosphere, game balance, pacing, all that. The gameplay, the maps, the music, everything was just right. Bad Company 2 was good, but it's where they started to made a mistake by making it more like CoD. Health regeneration and less health in general, perks (the scourge of modern fps games). Also, smaller maps which were in my opinion badly designed. The only maps I really enjoyed playing in BC2 were the ones they took from BC, like Harvest Day, Oasis, etc.
