The only thing I knew about Eclipso was from Justice League or Justice League Unlimited I forget which one, but turns out that was completely different from the books and the DCAU version just added random Lizard people who are connected to the Black Diamond, I haven't read any books he's in I don't think

What I like about Eclipso is how we had a male and female (which was the Atom's ex wife) versions of the villain over the years. I started getting into Eclipso through DC Superhero Girls Hero of the Year and did research. Their Lego set with the dark palace was the first mini figure of Eclipso to exist before Lego DC Supervillains came out with a game. I got to see how Eclipso evolved over the years, not just through comics but gender as well. Really glad this one is on my list of favorite DC villains.

It would absolutely nuts cool if they did the Spectre angle in Stargirl. BUT use Steven Amell's Spectre on the show (insane surprise crossover by the way) to fuse the Black Diamonds back into the Heart of Darkness to ultimately take down Eclipso in the show. Would be so flipping awesome.

Eclipso really freaked me out as a kid, because other villains might have been evil, but Eclipso _was_ evil. (BTW, he was a "utility villain" in the Silver age, facing Batman, Green Lantern, and the JLA in separate stories.)

You know what would be a epic battle between eclipso and darkseid..there both very strong dark villains..I actually wouldn't be surprised if we eventually see the spectre on stargirl..that had a very weird ending on that last episode of stargirl finding out that the real dr. midnite is still alive in the shadows..I think the shade put him there..but yeah..I cant wait to see how they beat eclipso on stargirl..I'm sure once jade finds her brother I'm sure she will be back and jakeem thunder will help out also👍
