Fun fact: In 2012, when ETS 2 was just released. SCS already has licenses for the Scania, MAN and Renault trucks, while other truck manufacturers such as the DAF, Iveco, Volvo and Mercedes Benz were not officially added and were changed to DAV, Ivedo, Valiant, and Majestic respectively. Later updates include licenses for all the truck manufacturers mentioned above.

I have both the games in my computer. Now I'm 13 yrs old&started playing ETS 1 in (7 yrs old) 2013 &ETS 2(1.1.1) in (somewhat 12 yrs old) 2017.Euro Truck Simulator 1&2 will be my evergreen childhood favourites.My truck gaming career started from 2012 by the game 18 Wheels Of Steel American Long Haul made by Scs software, then I played ETS 1, and games based on them(UKTS, GTS)I love ETS 1, 2❤️❤️❤️

I'm 14. I started with Scania Truck Driving Simulator in 2012, then German Truck Simulator and UK Truck Simulator in 2013. That same year I explored other games like 18 Wheels of Steel and eventually got ETS2 v1.9. For the next 6 years I have been playing and gaining experience. I now have over a thousand hours on ETS2 alone, and I don't plan to stop.

@@DarthDave573 OMSI 2 is an unoptimized, therefore trash performance shit with full of serious bugs while playing. The planned successor LOTUS's development is also only in a very early stage and it isn't advancing fast enough. So no, this wouldn't be the right way for ETS.

I wish there was ability to exit your truck to manually attach your trailer, to bring the papers to the dispatcher, to fuel your truck or to walk around your truck on go to sleep if you have 1-person bed upgrade on the back of your truck, something like in Construction sim 2015. That would be easily one of the best game

With ETS (NOT ETS 1 ONYL ETS) You have a BIG MAP and not Every Contry as DLC(EA Like).

Keep in mind at the same time that in the first ETS all places looked the same without being unique. In ETS2 all the DLCs give a different look for all the countries - and every single DLC looks better as technology advances and as modern PCs get stronger and stronger to be able to render more realistic environments. Compare Going East to Road to the Black Sea - you'll see why I said all of these. (And I haven't even talked about ProMods yet...)
