Amazing work here! If you still make cities for civ 6, I'd suggest Moscow during the 30's to the 50's maybe showing the fighting outside the city during WWII or the evolution of Tenochtitlan in the 15th century into Mexico City in the 16th to 19th centuries showcasing the destruction of the Aztec monuments and gradual filling in of lake Texcoco. Regardless, I applaud you on the amazing content so far!

It was one of the biggest cities of Europe during the middle ages, together with other muslim cities in Europe like Sevilla, Palermo, Cordoba or Toledo to cite some. Christian Europe had a very low urbanisation during most of the middle ages, it's only starting in the 11th century that we would witness a rebirth of the cities in Europe.

He uses the civ 6 map builder to make the maps. Then plays the game and uses some mods. You can check his making Alexandria video to see how. If youre talking about recording software I have no idea. He usually lists most of his mods in his desc but not all of them.
