Although in her arcade mode ending in MKX, Kitana has seen visions of herself in the original timeline killing Shao Kahn after MK Armageddon and becoming Edenia's new queen. Of course this fuels a hatred toward Raiden for ruining her destiny. Though the person who revealed this to Kitana is a mystery though it could possibly be Jade possessed by the woman who possesses her body in her MK9 ending

I feel like Liu Kang is a big baby in this timeline! It is too bad Raiden couldn't show them the previous timeline in its entirety. If they could all see what could've transpired, they would enjoy their current Shao Kahn-less lives Also, Jax thinks that Kitana likes being a Revenant, but if he'd been trapped for 25 years also, he'd seem to be the same way. I'm certain that everyone will be happy and nice again once they are brought back to life(considering 5 of the threats are now deceased - Shao Kahn, Shinnok, Quan Chi, Sektor and Shang Tsung; 6, if you count Mileena)

I have two questions that were brought on by the comments. 1. People are asking for Jason as well as Predator. I am wondering if those two are actually eligible considering they are third party. I could see you going over there movie history or at least a brief version of it as well as what they are doing in the game. Could be interesting. 2. Being that Injustice is a fighting game as well, will you go over characters there? This I am assuming no because the two options I can think of sound bad. You could either sift through decades worth of continuity in DC comics, or just do their stories in Injustice which wouldn't yield too big of videos. That's all in terms of questions and honestly I am glad to hear other fighting games are on the table. So can I suggest characters from other games now or do we have to wait for MK to end? If it's the latter then I don't mind, MK is my favorite fighting game followed by Tekken and then Street Fighter.

I think this video highlights why I prefer the original series over the reboot. Raiden wasn't a fool, and Kitana did need to be guided to the truth about her parentage, nor have Kahn randomly state that everything she knows is a lie. Which makes no sense, as he had Kitana snowed all this time, and it was long established that he wants Kitana under his control, or dead. It makes no sense for him to gloat and GIVE her reason to rebel against him.
