I am from Sargodha and there are still Traces of 1965 war are present . The house in which we're living is about 60 years old. We listened a lot stories about 1965 war from our grandfather. Once he told that during war the Indian dropped the bomb, so we thought it was something else we started playing with it, later we came to know that it was bomb which couldn't blast. Then army came and took it with them. There's a house in front of our home in which Marks of 1965 war can be seen clearly. After seeing this episode i went to this house and imagined the picture of 1965.. May Allah bless our country.. Live Long Pakistan..

In the 1965 War, Pakistan suffered heavily in men and material in spite of her superiority in arms and equipment. It is estimated that Pak Army lost 5988 killed and many more wounded. India suffered 2735 men in killed and 8225 in wounded. Indian tank losses were 80 as against 475 of Pakistan.

Thanks for making a nice video. Since you are from Pakistan side so now we know Pakistan's view of 65 war. Pakistan didn't achieve its goal but India managed to save Kashmir. If Pakistan think they won and celebrates 65 war... that fine Pakistan is desperate for Kashmir not because of Muslim majority... but for Indus water system. Here are few lines from neutral sources: India military was weak after defeat from China. Pakistan's military was very strong with almost equal # tanks and with much superior in technology, Air Force had much advanced jets compare to India Pakistan started the war thinking weak India and can take few Kashmir in few days. Pakistan was winning in first few weeks but started loosing later as west stopped giving arms to Pakistan as Pakistan started the war just for greed over Kashmir. Pakistan lost 1800 km2 and India 540 km2 at the time of ceasefire. Pakistan accepted the ceasefire first as India's generals wanted to continue and gain more territory. Pakistan Air Force had an advantage but India managed with its inferior jets like GNAT etc. The attacks by China and Pakistan changed India's defense policy and thus in 1971 when Pakistan attacked second time, India had full advantage and helped BANGLADESH in just 14 days. India didn't even raise its flag in Bangladesh. India brought all Pakistan's army equipment with 93000 soldiers tough Bangladesh told your can take whatever you want. Final NOTE to Pakistani brothers. War and terrorism will not help... this will make your country weak. Kashmir wanted free country in 1947 and Pakistan invaded Kashmir in 1947. Kashmir realized that they cannot live as Pakistan will invade them so they decided to go with India BUT it was too late. Pakistan captured almost 1/3 of Kashmir by the time treaty was signed. People in Srinagar wants a free country and if that's not possible then with India. Laddakh-Kargil & Jammu always wanted to be with India

Pakistan Army was heavily out numbered, also Indian army do have superior Tanks force, Pakistan was using M-48/46 and Chaffie and M-4 tanks, while India do Have Centurion Tanks with 21 pounder Guns. and there was no match for them. same as MiG-19 in air-force it was just like putting Su-35 against F-16. so India was way ahead from Pakistan. it was only a badly planed adventure of Pakistan and nothing else.

Admin Faisal ...I have that book as well written by the legendary Sajjad Haider who led the attack on pathankot air base destroying. 14 plus IAF jets stationed in ground ( including newly commissioned Mig-21s). I read the section where Sajjad Haider raised his eyebrows about M.M ALAM shooting down 5 IAF jets in 30 seconds. The issue is about finding debris of other three jets. It's possible that the other three damaged IAF managed to make it back over the border . However you can't deny the fact that M.M ALAM successfully managed to hit 11/12( damaging 2 to 5) jets in total .
