My father worked for Parker for his entire working career (44 years!), and the company truly was the love of his life. An exceptional product that still lives on to this day. I'm trying to find history books about the company for his 90th birthday. Any suggestions? "Janesville: An American Story" is more about the pull out of GM from the town than Parker shutting down production.

A stainless steel jotter has been my daily pen for many years (although I also love the Sheaffer No-Nonsense and have several fountain pens) - many people still comment on how nice my jotter is - if only they knew how inexpensive they are. Although I also have a soft spot for the Parker 15 fountain pen - my first ‘proper’ pen.

I went thru countless T-ball Jotters in school until I /finally/ learned to ease up and not press like I'm making 3 carbon copies! My shirt pocket was incomplete unless that arrow clip was visible. I am rediscovering Parker pens with the Jotter London fountain pen.

Hello. I usually write with a Jotter but for me the most I like is the Parker 45 full stainless steel ballpen with golden clip.....the design and weight for me are perfect, first gen with grooves in special. I like the sound when you put a 45 ballpen on a desk...very metallic.

Can anybody explain why standard Parker jotter ball pens of blue, maroon and black are sold in India for about rs 350 while, off white, green ( not visible), yellow and red one's are sold for rs 3000 in Amazon, the only place to buy authentic pens, given the environment of counterfeit goods running wild in India.
