I think that arguing under the documentary like this isn't a good form of sharing national pride, even if there isn't contained everything that every single polish man would like to contain ;) God bless someone is making films like this. We, polish people, have to be like brave polish patriots of all times, not like pissed off roosters. And of course, we won't build the future without remembering about the past. I think we love our history because then our nation was strong (in many different ways) and we know that right now it's something REALLY hard to achieve. But we have to try, as long as we try, we're alive.

This was an interesting short film. Ciekawy film. Kasia did an excellent job. She was pretty and it was wise to have such a speaker. I never meet any young person named Kasia who was not pretty (Kasia jest b ladna). It was also nice that General Maczek was mentioned. After what he did for the Allied hopes, it was more than immoral that he was not awarded a pension by the British bureaucratic elite.

That's not my point. I nowhere said to forget about them. My point is that this should be shown in a positive, a more enthusiastic and approaching manner, rather than introduced by a person who shows all these cool things with a poker face. Maybe Poland should hire Bethany Hughes? She is great with that. She can always find and expose the most inspirign bits and create a great docummentary out of it. More details should be shown. I bet the history is more fascinating. USE IT!

And then in return Churchill and Roosvelt where not able to stand up and reply a NO to Stalin´s demand for annexation of Eastern Poland (Lwow, Wilno, Grodno) into USSR. Most of the soldiers from the Polish armed forces (prisoners of war in the Soviet Union 1939-1941) in the west came from these territories and cities!

9:30 "his short length of service ... meant he... wasn´t entitled to a pension... so he ended his days as a bartender" - British imperialism at its finest penny-picking. Throws you away at the first chance or occasion. Even serving them in their army is just another wage-slaving kind of activity to them, like "unpaid internship" for instance. Disgustingly repulsive. Nowadays it is all the same though.

It is a beautifully made video, but mostly depressing. You should have concentrated in good things. All nations have miserable history. The thing is to look beyond that.

...And after they saved Britain, they returned to homeland, just to find out, that Allies sold them to the Soviet (russians), brutal occupations. I hope, that Poles will be less naive in the future...

They wont. They keep worshipping the same Anglo-Saxons and Anglo-Americans who kept dumping them at all levels, individual (to be written off out of their army with no pension) and greater ("Western Betrayal" / "Strange / sitting war". Like weird twist of Stockholm syndrome. I watched Tucker Carlson's interview with Duda, who evaded and dodged all of his questions about Biden and even Soros, but started complaining about Lukashenko instead (when asked about refugees). Meaning that unlike Orban of Hungary, Polish Duda is afraid of a foreign tycoon half a globe away. What a shame!

Poles, watching this stuff, remember who betrayed you three times in just five years, of course the Brits. First time taking out the ass, September 1, the second time the Warsaw Uprising and the third by selling us the Union of Soviet. Lesson Learrned: the best alliance for Poland is UK!!!!

Bla bla bla. In my opinion we Poles should look into the future not the past. We should be focused on pushing everything forward to do not be a museum of Europe. I have no idea why our Ministry of Foreign Affairs has paid for that film. It is about the ppl who fought for Britain so maybe Britain should pay for that? I am really angry. Dislike!

***** First of all i did not insult you, so i require some culture. Thank you. Second of all. I am deadly sure that you are an immigrant or son of an immigrants, because you act like the one. Most of you (not successful immigrants) wanna gain some pride and to achieve that you follow very populist politicians, you get the pride watching pompous historical films, and complaining on others because they think differently, and do not bless you due to your origin, and heritage. It is not that i am not appreciate of that what those pilots did especially because i had realative who was RAF pilot and brother of Wojciech Kołaczkowski was very good friend to my family, however i don't have to demonstrate my pride and expect that others will glorify me for achievements of my compatriots. Get it? Greetings from Poland.
