I first became aware of Scream when i went on the universal studios spiderman ride and she is one of the villains attacking the city with DR Octopus, I was like oh cool female Venom

Much like with several other symbiotes on the family tree, the final fate of Donna Diego/Scream really is quite sad, especially as she genuinely did try so hard to avert it. She knew she wasn’t doing well. She didn’t know how to handle a symbiote - never mind a baby symbiote who had no experience with anything and was itself not doing well due to how it was born- and was already not receiving any help for her schizophrenia either. Which was shown, in-comic, to make it hard for her to tell the difference between symptoms of that and her Other actually talking to her. So she went to venom for help. But, the fact that their first-born, Carnage, turned out so bad, combined with the huge trauma which resulted in the Life Foundation quintuplets actually being born, just meant...they couldn’t accept it. Resulting in things for all the kids getting worse - culminating in Scream killing the hosts of all the others. Ironically enough though with the parental rejection, of all the kids it actually turns out that Scream is one of those most like their parent. Because she went the familiar way of turning back from her murderous route and trying instead to pull her life together. To do the heroic route instead. If nobody was willing to help her, then she was just going to do it by herself. To hell with anyone else. She was putting her life at serious risk to save some kids and Evidence even suggests that she reconciled with Hybrid some point, the attack against her siblings being what drew her out into the trap which killed her. Which, as said, really is just sad. And raises several major “what ifs”.

I wish that more of the symbiotes that are somewhat good (not evil) could've stuck around longer without being killed. Toxin became good, Anti-Venom seemed like a hero, maybe if he thought he finished off the symbiotes his methods would evolve into curing terminal and previously incurable illnesses, and Hybrid was the only symbiote against killing. I really like it when Venom fights villains, normally when he teams up with Spider-Man, being somewhat good for a little bit. I guess I like seeing monsters like Venom, that scared me the first time I saw them as a kid, play the hero.

The Life foundation symbiotes were also used to create the Mercury team. They were supposed to hunt carnage but he murdered their hosts. Then in Deadpool vs. Carnage, all 4 bond with Deadpool.
