And the area of today's Slovakia was part of it, more or less this area is what was called Felvidék at these times (Upper Land), sometimes even today..

For example, in the case of England, there were Anglo-Saxon, Danish, French (Norman), English-Welsh, Scottish etc. rulers of England. It didn't matter since there were no nationalism until the 18-19th century. Hungary was established in 1000 by I. (Szent) István (Stephen the 1st) and it is existing even now. The ruler's nationality, form of government etc. doesn't matter in this respect.

This is actually true fact, Its a weird statistic that takes into measures averages ( We are much smaller than LONDON area) And if you take Western part of Slovakia only ( Bratislavsky kraj) ON avarage you get better life with certain amount of money here then you get in London. Fun fact: in the slovakian "history books" (with that they wash the brains of the hungarians living there, too) they live with the trick that they use a different word for the historical Hungary ("Uhorsko") and for today's Hungary (Madarsko). In their minds Uhorsko is not equal with Hungary. They think it was some kinda state formation, where everyone would have lived in peace but the hungarians were insatiable and they wanted the whole territory for themselves, so this state formation in 1920 just by itself fell apart but the "villain hungarian" can't accept it since then.. That's why they feel themselves qualified to use such illustrations in their "history books" as "Slovakia in the 13th century" (stupidest thing i've ever heard), and a picture of bratislava from 1600 (its original name is Pozsony, which is the true hungarian name, so bratislava with this name didnt exist before 1920) and yea there is Csák Máté (Mateous Trencansky as they like to call him) famous slovakian duke :DDD... That's a fact that the slovakians didn't do shit during the history to get an own country. We saved their asses from the Ottoman empire, the mongols etc. And after the great ear the Czechs sucked some french dicks to get that nice big territory for them so after that they were gonna be the czechs batboys. If not the coward czechs but the e.g. serbians would have been their neigbours, czechslovakia wouldnt have fallen apart so peacefully. Don't even mentionig that the there living hungarians feed the whole "slovakia". If back in the day they wouldnt have got Csallóköz (a territor where only hungarians used to live, and even in these days there is hungarian majority there), they would eat lichens and potatoes in the Tatra.. What a dumb comment, in czechia we use uhersko and maďarsko as well. Nowhere is it implied that Hungary was or is evil. The only one who seems to be angry about Hungary loosing territory is you. Origin of the word Uhorsko/Ugoria/Uhoria is slavic . Core words are "U" + "hor/gor" (that can be translated as "close to/next to the mountains" ) BTW :that is how Ukrajina got its name: Ukraine - Ukraina -" U +krajina"(in eng "next to the border" ) during the Hungarian-panonian invasion it was still called "Kyjevska Rus" some time after Magyars and Khazars took over the panonia new borders of Russian Alliance were created and that was in today's Ukraine... UGORIA/Uhoria is the only way how you will see it writen in all historical maps /books before 17.st. Magyars(non Europen nation) were not Ugorians(Europen - slavic nation) , but Magyars mixed with Ugorians, Jazyges, Dacians and other slavic speaking tribes of today's Hungary. Asian Magyars invaded panonia about 1000 ago. After slavic tribes from this region have lost big war with Francs ( Roman Empire) Than Magyars came to panonia where slavic-tribes have just lost about 200 000 warriors to finish the rest of men's that wanted to fight (or can fight) Magyars settled there together with Khazars(allies or Romans) which have paid them for this war... Around that time Khazars invaded Kyjev some time later Russians took it back and after that they attacked Khazars. Russians won and most of khazars settled in roman empire territory and... Guess why Khazars (Turks that converted to Judaism ) and Magyars have the same traditional national clothes?

Most of people (if any) didn't speak Magyar language at that time. That is why slavic languages survived mainly in mountain areas... And as every historian says, oldest languages survived in remote areas and mainly in mountains... @@cattleman9595 I asked for real personal experience, not from friend or family Part of my family was also sentenced to workcamps, manual labour. It was called "akcia B". My grandfather they took into prison in 50's, nobody new where he was fot 6month. Husband of my grand aunt was tortured by communist. I spoke with both of them (they all death now but they still lived in 90's). They said - this was bad in the 50's - later was better. They all got integrated in to sociaty, got good positions later on and even after November 1989 my grandmother said that now live will be harder. I lived in real socialism - I know what I am speaking -again not everything was bad.

Most of the Germans has to leave Czechoslovakia after the WW2 not because of communists, but before they came to power because of prezident Beneš. How sure are you about the story?

Now let's see your side. Slovakia is a state, appeared first in history as a Nazi puppet organism in 1939, and later as an independent state in 1993. Before that in the history there was no state called Slovakia. You should know this better than me, shouldn't you? We have had 30 years of capitalism, how has it helped us? If capitalism is so good then why do most people go to western Europe for work?
