how do i sell it
@RavenHawkCoins9 ай бұрын
@madianime5648 you can go to a local coin shop or take it to a coin show. The price will ultimately depend on the condition of your coin. You can also try Facebook, or there is a discord coin forum over at the @SilverSeeker KZbin channel. There is a link, and they do buys and trades, too.

That is really cool. As you mentioned that history behind those coins are amazing. Those coins helped establish the US. My question is there a way of dating if the chop marks are new versus having been there awhile?
@RavenHawkCoins Жыл бұрын
Good question, the person would have to own a really old stamp or be really good at making a fake one. But new stamp marks would be shiny and need to be antiqued somehow. Which could be possible. However, I don't think that chopmarks are on the radar of those who fake the old coins.

Nice coins. I sent 2 trade dollars in like 2 months ago. Came back in body bags. Altered service?
@RavenHawkCoins Жыл бұрын
That's a bummer. When altered surfaces is put on the sheet as why it doesn't get a grade is they believe someone has changed part of the coin from it's original look/mint. Would be nice if the grading companies would explain it better than just two words. Perhaps a picture and a paragraph. Sorry about your coins.

I'm trying to get all the the different portrait types.. Now I'm trying to find the last type with King Ferdin issued from 1812-1824. But many have been cleaned or have some other problems. Valued is moderate in EF-AU without cleaning or any other problems.. I've seen on eBay going for $250- $400 and up for this type I'm looking for.. But I do have the pillar Spanish milled dollar type, The King Charlos IlI, And the King Carlos the VI types.. As a type collector it great to get all the different 8 reals that the colonists used during and after the colonial period.
