St John's Apostolic Faith Mission Church of S.A has 39 Splinter groups. 1. The Faith Mission Church Headquartered in Katlehong and Mamelodi respectively. 2. Church of Prophecy headquartered in Motlollo. 3. Father Masango St John Headquartered in Lesotho I stand to be corrected on this one. A of other groups out there.

After the passing of Prophet Masango, was there a succession plan in place to avoid further divisions, as you have explained how the initial one occurred? What did the Church's constitution say about the succession process during Prophet Masango's tenure? There is a video on KZbin where Father Marago and Father Matsoso co-conducted a service in 1986. Was the Archbishop already installed at that time? Additionally, how did Father Masango's church come to be? As I am aware that you have conducted research on this topic, I am asking for your assistance in answering these questions.

The first division happened after Father Masango won a court battle. The battle was based on who is going to be an Archbishop after Lazarus Nku passed away due to a train accident. Johannes was supposed to step in an Archbishop and apparently he was there were disagreements and remember Johannes is the first born of Ma Nku, whom the church is named after. After the division Father Masango went Germiston and Mme Nku went Motlollo to create church of Prophecy. Baba Jacob Maragu succeeded Baba Masango and it was in the news how he used to live a lavish life, it created an uproar. There was a succession plan that whoever who is next in line shall take the position of being an Arch. Since St John is a spiritual church there will be cases where a person is given a position based on Taelo or a dream or Prophecy. There is an Archbishop who passed away who I know and said that he got the position ka Taelo and not based on constitution. The current Archbishop ya Mamelodi Headquarters is an Archbishop based on a succession Planing he was the senior Bishop and automatically became Arch. Baba Matsoso is highly influential figure now more especially the Father Masango faction. He is believed to be one of the remaining Bishop tsa Baba Masango. Father Masango Faction is predominantly churches Baba Masango built and more. He played a key role in scaling St John. Mme Nku had a dream about Baba Masango that he will grow St John to be bigger and better. I hope I have answered your questions. Iam still researching on the history want to meet Baba Matsoso, Chipape and hope Ramokoka and hear their versions of the history Iam sure I will document it and hopefully make a documentary or a podcast who knows maybe a Bible according to St John's, history according to different people.
