Thank you for such a detailed origins story of not only my favourite MK character, but probably my favourite character in all video game industry! I'd like to add an info behind that Kuai Liang's scar though. In previous timeline it is Kung Lao who injures Sub-Zero's eye with his hat. It is shown in MK: Shaolin Monks. Though I don't know for sure if this game was ever a part of officially confirmed storyline:/ And in new timeline Sub got his scar from Kano's sudden attack with Kamidogu dagger, as we can see in this video.

He did both already well in the new timeline he was saved by Smoke and the Earthrealm since in this timeline Kuai Liang was in the same position Smoke was in he meets Noob Saibot he in his Cyber Sub Zero section where he goes to monitor Quan Chi and inform the Earthrealmers about the soulnado that Quan Chi is casting to absorb the souls of Earthrealmers

I liked Tekken's 7 Story mode a lot actually. In terms of tension, there is nothing even close to the last fight between Kazuya and Heihachi in Mortal Kombat's story. And the fight between Heihachi and Kazumi was really good as well. It just has so much more emotions in it. Though in terms of the story itself I will agree that MK is better.

An interesting thing about the LIn Kuei is there was an organization in China that was referred to as the same name, that are basically the pioneers of Ninjutzu and the teachings of the Ninja. Lin Kuei roughly is translated to "forest demons."

Bi Han and Kuai Liang aren;t that far apart in age. Kuai Liang is at least 1 or 2 years younger which is hinted in the MK9 Sub-Zero that shows both of them being carried away from their parents.

My all-time favourite MK character, right from the first game. I have an ongoing love affair with Kitana and spent some time cheating on her with Mileena, but any time there was ever a discussion about Mortal Kombat and favourite characters, I never hesitated to consider Sub-Zero as my #1. Times neatherealm studios disrespected Sub-Zero solely for scorpion: Mk9 cinematic trailer, Mk9 opening start screen, Mk9 kratos dlc trailer, Mkx launch trailer, Scorpion injustice intro, making Sub-Zero default choice for player 2, when it should be swapped with scorpion, in both Mkx & mk11. so every character practice dummy is Sub-Zero.
