Whats the difference between a stretch and strengthen deadlift and just a regular one?
@TheKneesovertoesguy7 ай бұрын
Good question! Main component here making it a stretch/strength deadlift is the lengthening of the hamstrings. If you pay close attention to the eccentric of this version of deadlift, even at the bottom range of the rep you still have constant tension in your hamstrings by not only strengthening them, but improving mobility by keeping the legs slightly bent and back resisting the ability to round. This can differ from a conventional deadlift, which doesn’t necessarily have that lengthening component and utilizes more knee extension as well. Hope this helps!

Is there any worth in getting something like this or doing nordic curls when i already own a GHD and doing 8/10 rep sets near strict GHD curls on those?
@TheKneesovertoesguy7 ай бұрын
With a GHD the pressure shifts from knee to hip. If you own one, I think you’re fine. I separately use a Nordic and a Back Extension to measurably address each part. Fortunately, my Back Extension price is coming down to under 200 for members, with the Nordic at 360, so someone can have both for less than the average GHD. Since you already own one, I think you’re fine. Still better than the norm! 👊🔥 But that is my reasoning: separate measurement for each, and the Nordic happens to provide more long-term adaptation behind the knee.
