While most of faction in gundam series fighting for ideology, space racism and politics. 00 actually had good point in story, all of the faction fighting for energy source just to survive, celestial being being a threat of the world just for the world united to eradicate them. Not just that By understanding each other we can end the conflict no matter what kind race and species you are.

The most frustrating thing in the UC timeline is that nothing changes. War is still the status quo and despite the release of the true charter, discrimination against newtypes still persist. I hope the new Hathaway's Flash movie creates a new timeline where... ya know.. Hathaway succeeds in his dream of a new world.

I sort of think that’s the point- much like in reality there will always be this infinite cycle of conflict. People either unable or unwilling to understand one another being another key component to UC. I don’t want to spoil you but if the movies adapt the novels faithfully for Hathaways flash it has a very tragic ending

bandai needs to sell toys somehow. maybe there will be shows in the future with more focus on industry like the commercial and technology aspect of witch from mercury, or more exploration/adventure type shows rather than warfare. even a different conflict that comes from outside of zeon/federation like aliens.
