I am proud to listen to Laos history. It is very interesting and I want to all Lao people to listen to a unique Laos historynever had spoken and written in the Laos history like this. We are still having a few good historians and we should listen to his narative telling.

Not only that, God will be on Laos side to go after the western Siamese Thieves, for many years of their abuses done to us. People can be bias but modern Thai history is known to make up shit as they go along. There is a reason why western scholars of Southeast Asian history show no respect to Thai history written after the reign of Rama V. There's also a reason why Thai history written during the reign of Rama IV does not match that of Rama V and it completely different from Thai history taught today. I also find it funny how Thais try to teach history as if Thais are homogeneous like Japan or Korea. Most Thais do not know their own ancestors or deny their own ancestors because of the crap filled history taught in Thailand. Remember that Thai teacher from Saraburi that said from her research the story of Ya Mo was made up? She had to move provinces because of it. Phibul made up that stupid story.

All the so called Tai speaking groups did once called themselves AiLao or Lao for short in the distant past. But over time it came to stick on the population of Lanxang only. Ayuthaya called any Tai speaking group North and Northeast ofthemselves as Lao including the Tai Yai,Yuan, Lue, Tai dum/kao etc To me there is no Northern Lao etc. Just Lao that migrated South over time. Even during the early Khmer Kingdoms there were already Lao living amongst the Khmers hundreds of years before the founding of Lanxang. That first group among the Khmers called themselves Lao and lived along the Mekong. The second group from Yunnan called themselves by individual Tai groups. It's hard to explain. But i now what you're talking about(Khun Borom's sons etc).
