Even though that last statement of yours is OBJECTIVELY true, that majority would like to disagree on the 2009 counterpart feeling like Wolfenstein, I played Wolfenstein 3D and RTCW first, and I'd say the 2009 version sucks in EVERY way and comes off as a Call of duty knock off then a Wolfenstien sequal, the New order enemies actually FELT threatening, and there is no bullshit Regenerative health, and brought BJ back into his glory days. it fixes ALL the problems forgettable 2009's Call Of duty Wolfenstein has, and the ONLY wolfenstien game nearly as loved as RTCW, and THATS saying something.

That was a cheap CoD 2 knock off! With regenerative health and boring enemies and maps, it was just another fucking war game, people say it's the best mostly because of nostalgia. I played most of the Wolfenstein games trying to have an objective look at the games, including Wolfenstein 3D, the best modern Wolfenstein game is New Order, it is the one that is better designed, written and shares the most similarities with the classic one made from id.

Same. It’s a shame it got pulled from steam. I think it had something to do with Activision losing publishing licenses for the series. Same with Wolfenstein RPG. EA lost that publishing license. Two games I miss deeply and hope they somehow make a return. I’d die of joy if you could play Wolfenstein RPG in The New Colossus like how you could play some of Timesplitters 2 in Homefront: The Revolution.

Slender Man the Senior yeah, because of the game being a game on the apple II computer. theres a program called "the voice" that lets you record,create and edit voices, it even lets you type a sentence and the computer Will read it. pretty much it's made by muse software who also made castle wolfenstein.

RTCW is the beat game of the series. I want a remastered version of it with 2017 level fantastic graphics , new weapons , new enemies and better and more clever AI. All the other aspects should be the same.

because some people love an older version of a game because of something like story or game-play but just want to see it evolve in a sense and get better graphics and some more modern day game-play and materials/mechanics like akash was listing just to give a good game another run in the light and maybe make it a little better than it already was just more up to date. Not to mention people want some games remastered just so its playable again on a greater scale. Lets take RTCW on PS2 for example lots maybe played it then on either PS2 or PC then which in comparison to each other were either about equal in graphics and game play or slightly different, but we will just stick to PS2 version at its time for sake of my example. Now a days its probably next to impossible to ever go back and really play and relive the game as it was back then in '01/'02 simply because as sad as it makes me to say it PS2 consoles are practically obsolete and aren't made anymore because its old, outdated and there's simply newer and better stuff out so time is not dedicated to them anymore. Which makes it hard to go back and play such a game on that platform unless you still have a PS2 and it works still. So people would want a game they like such as RTCW to be "remastered" so it can be playable on newer and higher end platforms like now PS4 or a PS3 and PC specs now. Maybe that helps and makes more sense.

While I do agree that New Order is by far the best Wolfenstein game to date as far as quality, nothing beats the nostalgia of Wolfenstein 2009 for me - I played that game nonstop throughout middle school. It's one of my favorites, and I'll still hold onto it for years to come. No amount of critics or naysayers can tell me otherwise; and yes, I've also played and beaten every other game in the series for PC (not that rpg bullshit)

Wolfenstein the New Order - I think this is the pinnacle of their achievement. The story, atmosphere and realism are off the charts. I really think if the Nazis had won the war it would have played out as it did in the game in some ways. Really a stellar achievement. Can't wait for Wolfenstein: the New Colossus!

Gubbica99 crysis 1 was mainly developed to test the "heavily modified"(updated) cry engine 2 and released on the market to get the feed from gamer's PCs to analyze the performance of cry engine. later they came up with a relevant storyline, game mechanics in crysis 2, 3 was funded by the vendors like amd, Intel, Nvidia and there you go... now you need couple of $1000 GPU with few TB of Rams and 7-9 displays and don't forget! nVidiaaaa... the way it's meant to be played (my ass)...

And I can't understand why they haven't made a Remastered version of the games, RTCW 2001 remastered for PC, tides of war remastered for xbox one and operation resurrection remastered for ps4
