Dr Murali Venkatrao your lecture on Yoga, it's origin, it's history etc was enlightening and excellent. However, I was very hurt that a highly respected scholar and practitioner of Sanāthana Dharma and all that it encompasses, chose to say Bhagavad Gita is the Bible of Hinduism. Highly horrifying and disappointing! It is akin to saying Sun is like an LED light bulb! Perhaps, the decades in the West and habit of placating and catering to the people there, has forced Yoga teachers, gurus and yogis to take a flexible stance on traditional Yoga and Sanāthana Dharma, to say the least. I was in Canada for a decade and have seen the abuse of Yoga and gross misinterpretation of Sanāthana Dharma. Disheartening. My apologies. The comments here are not at all in malice but out of the deep pain that I feel. 🙏
