"Suiyang" is sort of pronounced like saying the words " Sway" and "Young" together.

The rebel army was extremely brutal so it kinda made sense on why the garrison had to been so desperate. After all why surrender when your gonna get killed your children murdered or sold and your wife and mother violated in front of you.
