Nah, thats what they want you to believe. I for one im sure it is Simon who is being held captive. How they keep him working without braking in tears, or worst, i dont yet know. Will have to do more research on that. But like said im 100% sure its a fabricated rumor that the writers are prisond just for decoy.

I had a physics class in highschool where we played a flash game about building a coaster and calculating the different forces throughout the ride. The teacher had to specify, if we made a death coaster we had to make a second normal one. I remember a friend made a version similar to the one in the video while I thought it would be much simpler to just have the last ring repeated after the first drop. We ended up calculating that while this one likely makes you drift off to a death, mine would have just turned the riders into a fine paste by the first loop from the excessive g-forces…

Another interesting fact I recently found out about birthing. Having the person lay down has nothing to do with the person in labour. It has to do with birthing becoming a medical procedure performed by doctors as a standard practice for the wealthy around the 16th or 17th century. Prior to this squatting while holding a door frame, tree, wall, etc was more common, but when medical doctors got involved these positions made it difficult for the doctors to do their work so the patient would have to lay down. Once doctors became the standard for all wealthy people giving birth rather than local midwives, those that couldn't afford a doctor just assumed since the rich are doing it that way at the instructions of a doctor that's gotta be the way to do it. In most developed nations nowadays; the doctors actually have to ask the patient what method of delivery they'd prefer, or at least ask them if they wish to deliver laying down or not.
@lucyst8
@lucyst8 2 ай бұрын
It's often harder to give birth laying down, too, as we need to essentially push the baby out "up hill." When we stand or squat, everything lines up properly so it's easier.

I feel like the “suicide roller coaster” would definitely create some issues that the creator didn’t consider. Slowing lifting people 500 ft into the air is definitely going to cause fear and anxiety and I feel any assisted euthanasia plan should do everything it can to eliminate fear, not create it.

@@16mopey potentially but these people would have already signed up for this, probably gone through multiple psych evaluations and consultations, and been asked if they are sure before being strapped in. How many “final checks” can there be? How many would opt out not because they are scared of death but scared of heights? Idk in theory it would work but in reality it feels few would want to be involved. I doubt most people would want to go out in a box strapped in next to 5-20 random strangers
@CorwinAlexander
@CorwinAlexander 2 ай бұрын
In the design, the climb was intentionally slow with a last minute regret station at the top where people could get off and climb back down. No one that didn't want to be there was allowed on the euthanasia coaster otherwise it would just be a murder coaster.

You forgot to mention that that chainsaw procedure was in use into the 90s in Ireland and there are many women alive today who are permanently disabled and disfigured because of this procedure. Many women were unable to bear more children after the procedure for both physical and mental reasons, some were so traumatized by the ordeal they vowed never to have another child. Some women underwent the procedure multiple times.

For me "electronic" is used for low (120V) to extra-low (30V) voltage devices/equipment/systems like digital screen or analog/digital control circuit for say a fridge and "electric" or "electrical" is bigger devices that normally take electricity to perform work like to running the compressor that keeps cooling the fridge.
