Im 12 too I collect mostly American military items I started with a Hungarian M70 and in 3 years I had already gotten an entire US army FLC vest Setup in UCP

Hey i'm also 12 years old and I also have a ww2 collection my best find is an O.H.W 41 wich Is a soldier bottle from 1941 I found it in the water in a river in Germany, yes I'm from Germany. Geschichte ist wichtig (that means history is important)

ok so some details about the japanese gears as i collect it myself: regarding the plane the KI-45 toryû/nick is a heavy fighter, and the flying boat is not a catalina but a kawanishi H6K type 97 recon plane (codename mavis) the sake cup is an interesting thing, usually they are dedicated to some commemorations or to celebrate valors of honor bravery and dedication to the emperor (usually those were slammed on the ground to complete the pledge of allegance) i've never seen any retirement examples though The flag was usually signed by familiy and friends when the conscript went to war here a blank one can be : an orphan reaching the conscription age or a post-war captured at a factory by an us soldier the small strings attached to the leather piece are for attaching it to the front of the rifle

My great grandfather “frank rout” was in the New Zealand 🇳🇿 Air Force. But sadly died in 1945 in training. He was a sergeant.

I found a few news paper articles that talk about the plant in Salt Lake City Utah that produced a few of the bullets you have found while metal detecting. My grandma worked there and at the Toole ( toewillAH) army Depot . I’ll be putting them in the mail next week .

when i moved to my new house in the basement i found a ww2 backpack thing but in good condition but when i opened it it ripped a little bit because it was wet and not taken care of but I've put it somewhere safe and protected. thank you for saving history that would of been forgotten and i love your channel

I was at our town dump a while ago and they have a donation section where people can drop off clothes, books, furniture, etc. As I was looking at some books a person put on the table next to me a small brown paper bag with lots of old photos inside. It turns out they were photos from an WW2 American soldier with letter he sent home along with a envelope marked with Orianaburg concentration camp photos this soldier took! This was going to be thrown out!,, Historical and disturbing original photos of plies of civilians murdered in this camp with American soldiers looking at all the piles of bodies. There are also women and and babies in these photos. This American soldier must’ve taken these photos.

I have a Real M1 helmet and German Paratrooper helmet plus a German Ruksak. I also have 9 pieces of woodland camo. I now have a Soviet winter camo uniform and ushanka. I also have a ww2 us army messenger bag. Two Vietcong machetes along with two us army uniforms from Vietnam. I also got a M42 stalhelm. I now have a German Trench coat a 1977 Czech Gas mask 1980s combat boots 2 Ammo boxs Navy Digi Camo and 6 color Desert camo

I too have a set of A.G.M Canteen (1944) and Canteen Cup (1945), but I'm missing a cover in good condition. They still look great in my display. I really admire your dedication to discover and preserve history. Carry on the good work. You definately need a genuine Samurai sword to open fan mail

A friend, whom I have since cut ties with unfortunately because he was a jerk to my mother, gave me a 1921 Morgan Dollar that a soldier kept with him during the Second World War. I don’t know where the soldier served, but it is still an amazing piece of history.
