Hello my friends! :D
Sorry it took so long, i was really busy with some stuff... but finally, an new video!!
We went back to the field again, but this time to just detect on it, instead of digging in the hole again!
We noticed some surface finds on a different part of the field... and later, a got a good signal... yes.. we found another dump.. this time with a lot of ammo!
There were more signals in that area, but too bad.. it was getting dark again!
My plan was to come back the next day with a friend, to search for more awesome stuff in the big hole.. he really wanted to see it..but it went a little different the next day.. i'll explain that in the end of this video.
I also bought something cool again.. a WWII pistol i will show you at the end of this video!

As a career firefighter, I've seen ammo that was in a fire. It pops like pop corn. Because the case is a weak link, the case ruptures when exposed to flame. The projectile stays in the case mouth but the side of the cartridge blows out when the gun powder and primer detonates. It looks like those ruptured rounds were exposed high heat from fire. Yep, then the melted comb came out. I don't think the small arms ammo is dangerous. Obviously any explosives like the grenade... ya. Danger.

It's a shame the farmer took away your permission to detect the field, hopefully come June / July you will be able to regain his permission...as far as the Military Fair goes, heck yeah film if, where I am here in the states, they dont have fairs like that, so I can only speak for myself, but I would really enjoy seeing everything. Oh God, I feel so sorry! This field is literally the once-in-a-lifetime field of dreams - it still hides so much history... I'm really hoping that this farmer will let you detect here in the near future (also, there are lot of people saying that what we do is just digging rust of a ground - the superlative of that is, that you easily know which what kind of person are you speaking to). You never know what is going to pop out of this kind of dumpholes - soldiers usually threw their weapons (/destroyed weapons) and then the ammo. Once I've found a one-soldier-made dump like this and between the rounds I've found a French bayonet - as I said, those are probably most "mysterious" kind of dumpholes. Also - watch out for the copies at the fair! 3 weeks ago I've bought a really rusty DAK Heer M35 helmet and it took me over a week to find out that is an excellent-made copy (a small part of "rust" came off because of the transport and showed a beautiful, new steel - almost impossible to detect this with your eyes). Now I have really big problems of reclamating it to the guy that sold it to me, and as you can imagine as WW2 military collector, this kind of helmets is everything but cheap. Greetings once again and good luck - with detecting and with the annoying farmer!

Im glad you found what you did but im so bummed!!!! It was so interesting seeing you pull out helmet after helmet and imagening what happened there.what if : 1. you bribe him? Give him lets say 100 euros for a day of digging! Open up a go fund me and us the audience will help! 2.Try going viral in your area and put pressure on the old grouch!! 3. Hi I bought a P38 which turns out to have some pitting on it. I'm going to try and use oil and brass wool gently to remove it. Have you ever tried this with any of your deactivated gun collection? Great video and great pistol too.

You should get a little trowel, you will find it WAY more efficient when you dig, plus there will be less chance of damaging stuff you find... Oh and never pull stuff out the ground, expand the hole ‘around’ the find.. Anyway, moaning over lol, great video as always.

Yeah...maybe you could/must negotiate the next expedition, with that farmer...maybe a wine bottle... ;-) ...Because that place...indeed...is great ! You simply deserve to continue your exploration in that field...that place/hole... ! It could be another 'problem'...maybe somebody else, from the farmer's family have the same passion like you and, after he "saw" what you discovered there...you know... ;-/...all that precious "stuff" that could be still there...gone/lost ! ;-( In my opinion...you should not wait until june/july and you should do your best to obtain again THAT permission as soon as possible ! So...schnell ! ;-) GOOD LUCK ! Your 'Belgium project' sounds interesting ! BUT...you have almost everything (you worked hard for all those relics... you are 100% sure they are 100% AUTHENTIC/'GENUINE' WW2 relics...you deserve to have/keep them) so...your journey to Belgium should be just a...'joy ride' ! ;-)

It will be cool if there were something that can take down earth photo to see the actual field. May be there was an old trench and may be lot of body there... btw RIP for those soldiers looks like it went badly
