Kandye, girl, you rock! 😊 I learned so much from your lesson! Thank you! I remember Johnny Tremaine was often shown in class when I was in elementary school in VA. It's the movie that got me interested in Colonial History. That was 4th grade 1969-70. Oh, to have the days back when showing our early American history in schools was so important. VA especially took pride in the fact that it was an original colony. So, they started teaching the early history at younger ages. American Civics really needs to be put back into the elementary years again. Anyway, you did awesome with this! I hope youll continue to do more. God bless! Sue 😊❤

@@cabincrafts2239 And just wanted you to know, Kandye, I am sitting at home drinking some fresh brewed bohea tea in honor of the 250th Anniversay of the BTP! I share a toast with you and your viewers to all those men who defied a King, on that historic day, that led the path to our freedoms! Cheers! 🥂

I'm drinking the same! Same reason. Although, I will also drink some Liberty Tea for the same reason. The colonies started drying Goldenrod leaves and flowers as a substitute (definitely NOT like Bohea) and gave it that name. Probably till we won our Liberty and were able to drink Bohea etc again 😊

I agree or history needs to be taught again. American history was my favorite subject in school. ❤❤😢

As an Aussie I had heard of the Boston tea Party but did not know the full story, thank you Kandye once again I learnt something new. People were strong and not afraid to stand in their truth back then..we could learn a lot from our forefathers.❤️🇦🇺

Kandye this was wonderful! I wish I had you as my history teacher! I’ve always had an interest in the revolutionary war and I absolutely loved the movie Johnnie Tremaine, remember when he burned his hand? Oh how I wish we could straighten out this country, our founding fathers would be turning over in their graves if they knew what was going on today! Anyway great history lesson Kandye!

Kandye another awesome video. Now I was in fifth grade when the Bicentennial happened and I remember being mesmerized by this history. My brother majored in history because we were all so enthralled and proud of our American history. My hope is that some day school kids will learn about these historical facts again. Thank you for all you do! God bless you!

Hi Kandye, have tried the smoked tea today. It is very different for sure. I have never heard of it before. The aroma is a bit deceiving in that the aroma is strong, hickory and made me think of a nice slice of hickory smoked ham ")) I hoped the tea did not taste so. I am most pleased, this is a wonderful tea I will enjoy throughout the winter. Hope you are well. In Joy

I no longer consider tea the drink of we the people. The big tea lobby prevented me from being able to brew a decent tasting cup by not providing instructions about how much loose tea to use for brewing 1 serving, so I preformed a Pittsburgh Tea Party using my Pittsburgh Potty after several failed attempts to make something that didn't make me want to puke. I only drink COFFEE now as it is the beverage of the filthy peasants across the world. Happy Sparkle Season, y'all.

did the tea come in those meatal containers ? Is that the way they were packed for sale ?

No, it was in the crates on ship, then it was moved to large metal or glass canisters in the store. The ones I sell is in modern packaging with historic labels.
