I visited NAM many times when I was at A-school at Corry Station, before the expansion. I really want to return. Thank you for this walk through and BZ on that Birdcage!

Saw the birdcage Corsair back in Nov of last year while attending a Blue Angels Practice show. Absolutely beautiful!

I live 40 mins away. Wish I could've volunteered to work the Corsair but as a long time F-16 guy, I would've loved that, even if it was an N model.

How often is it cold enough in Pensacola for wearing a leather jacket?

The US NAVY needs to follow in the USAF footsteps and relinquish wrecks to finders. Too often the navy claims its still theirs and takes back or actually destroys aircraft being restored by private citizens. If it's been out of the inventory and written off for 70 years then its not yours. Many aircraft restorers and collectors despise the navy for this view.

I liked the history they have preserved . But there is not a Brewster F2a there.

Nice vid, terrible name (abbrev for Vietnam?), and taste in military paint schemes. The Mig21 flown at the Mankato Airshow, c. '93 in MN, was what one might expect from our 'frenemies' of the time. Since then we've gone into space with them, hosted Vodka toasts to them, and currently support the Ukes in killing them. Isn't that great? But would like to see the Douglas KA-3B accurately restored one day, and not the Mickey Mouse 'spoof' version currently venerated out there -- the fan blade of an A3 in the Pentagon wreckage notwithstanding.
