History Was Made - Montreal Canadiens

This is a montage of the series between the Montreal Canadiens and the Washington Capitals during the 2010 NHL Playoffs. This was one hell of a serie and lead to a moment of history for the Montreal Canadiens, being the first time the overcame a 3-1 deficit against a team who finished first place.

After a year to forget like this one.. This video is heartwarming its so good to remember.. I remember watching all the games with my grandpa, it's amazing to be apart of that. I went to game 3 vs the pens my first hockey game all be it we lose 2-0 but amazing to see the habs play. They are my team always were an always will be no matter what. GO HABS GO! Great video.

Whether people like or hate the Montreal Canadiens, you have to admit that the sport would not be the same without them, and you have to admit that was one heck of a run, whether it was luck or skill. I am a hans fan, and hope for at least the same this year.

Yes and yes, but that does not matter, I will be a habs fan for all my life, every single team has ups and downs, the wings, Kings, Hawks, Pinguins were bad for decades before having success in recent years, and the table could be turn again. But I don't see how any team could reach the 24 stanley cups of the habs in my lifetime.

@theflyersfan28 They did good in the Playoffs. First 8 seed to come back from a 3-1 series deficit. AND we did it against the Presidents Trophy winners, the Caps. THEN we came from a 3-2 deficit to take out the reigning Stanley cup champs. For a team that was expected to get swept, we did fucking amazing. Why are you at this video? Your a Flyers fan, no? No, it would not be possible for ANYONE to surpass Montreal's 24 Stanley Cups considering that the NHL is now a 30 Team League, unless we cut the NHL back down to a 6 Team League, when the Canadiens won 14 of those Cups, and another 8 more before the WHA Merger in 1979. And it's because of those 24 Cups why people expect nothing but greatness. And when they take a bad fall like they did this year, they are ridiculed like no other. As the Old Saying goes: You made your bed, now sleep in it!

It's because beside the habs and the Yankees there is no other teams in North America that can compare in the amount of championships won so it's a bit normal that they are the only two Traditionally Glorified Teams to have finished in the shitwhole since they are only 2 of their kind.

And again, history was made at Montreal in 2012. And that was the accomplishment of a Traditionally Glorified Team would finish a season in the Shithole of it's Conference. An accomplishment that has never been exceeded by another team IN ANY SPORT! Oh wait, I forgot. In 1966, the New York Yankees finished in the Shithole of the American League. So the Habs were not the first to accomplish that feat.

Stupid logic, like you said we are in a 30 teams with a salary cap league where the winner change each single year. Habs time will come back as the time of today winners will pass, but history can't be change and Montreal will always be the most important hockey team in the world, win or loose.
