In reference to the show, The Curse of Oak Island. As I watched an episode last evening and being in the construction business, I was shocked at the lack of safety and breaking of the OSHA rules. Riding in an excavator buck, no trench boxes, being lowered into a 30 foot pit in a bucket, excavated materials disposed of to close to the excavation. The list goes on and on. Why do the Lagina brothers get away with this on national TV but if I was caught, heavy fines would be adminesterd. I think you better take a long hard look at there lack of saftey standards and start making some decisions as to what OSHA should be doing, not doing.

Take two giant steps back and look at this ... all of this digging and drilling and holding back the ocean is expensive. The brothers are using television revenues to pay as they go ... with little or no personal outlay of cash for expenses. So when the find whatever, they will not have leveraged more than the value of what they may find to uncover it ... very smart.
