@Locutus5 жыл бұрын
He may very well be able to get 15,000 if he sold it himself, but how long will it take for him to sell it? Where would he go? How many people would he have to see? You have someone with cash, ready and waiting for you, no need to wait around to sell it.

If I’m taking the risk then I need to ensure I have a reasonable profit margin. If you have 2 people bidding on the coin at auction they could run it up over 20k if they really want it or there can be only one person that really wants it and it only goes up to 8k and after auction fees and your time going to the auction you lost a few grand. Some auctions don’t allow a reserve price. if you want quick cash you will almost never get close to what you want. If you want all the money try to sell it on line or at auction but you will be taking a risk, many auctions don’t let you have a reserve price. I’ve lost thousands at auctions and made thousands. If I paid full price like everyone wants I’d be broke. People have no idea the costs involved running a business and selling items.
