I grew up with my dad having a 59 and my sister having a 70. My dad also had a 56 BMW 650 motorcycle that he had brought back from when he was stationed in Germany. I had the coolest family in my Detroit neighborhood.

I'm not American but i love the beauty of this old car. You can't compare it with modern sport car like Lamborghini and Porsche since those two are so different in many level. It's like you judging a girl from Asian with Western or European so there is no result. In the end, both are beautiful on it's own.

I'm a Detroit born Arizonan having moved to Phoenix in '58 with my folks& brother. That said, my dad worked at the GM Tech Center before our move and a couple of years before the move he took me to an open house event at the Tech Center, around '56, where I have a distinct memory of seeing a then concept Stingray as one of several vehicles being driven around the grounds for review. Unfortunately, I don't recall any of the others.

I've been in these garages back in the mid seventies and have seen this collection of Chevy's they were cool to look at then and cool now. The man showing the cars is named Greg and he sold me my first car for 4000 bucks in 1976 when I was seventeen, at the time Greg was probably just a few years older or more than me, he was a kool guy and so was his dad, great guys to work for. I still have the vehicle 42 years later. Vegas in the seventies was a great place to be.
