My great great grandfather and my great great great uncle both of the 32nd Tennessee Infantry CSA fought at Peachtree Creek Thanks for your great programs

AoC used Casey's infantry tactics and could always be counted on to have depth in their brigade structure.

Southern Generals in particular loved En Echelon attacks. They seldom worked.

I appreciate the comprehensive animation. I had watched earlier parts with intewrruptions making it more difficult to see the battle in all of its scope

This battle of Peach Tree creek. Was another comedy of errors on the Confederacy. Trying to hold Sherman’s march to Atlanta. Hood had not enough troops or experience to fight the Union oppressors. 💯👊👍💕

A director casting anyone but Jake Gillenhall to play Hood is commiting a crime against both Art and History.

@@davidduff5123 upon hearing that i had to go look. in the pedia of wiki it says, "Gist was named after the Southern states’ rights doctrine of nullification, reflecting the political beliefs of his father, Nathaniel Gist, a follower of John C. Calhoun." they could have called him Nullifier, i suppose...Null for short.

Obviously someone who's got a very narrow view of the world & politics. Probly didnt have a great sense of humor also.

Any other renactors have their cartridge go off as you were pouring it down the barrel? Metal so hot your trying only to touch the wood.

I’m sorry to say I struggled to reconcile the map with today’s geography, which I am very familiar with. Would it be possible to put names on the roads? I don’t know if they still exist, though I thought so in some instances. For example, Collier Rd. is fairly obvious, maybe Defoors Ferry?

This attack could’ve and should’ve but didn’t work because of Hardee. If he had closer control of his division he could’ve set in motion a complete rout, he didn’t do his job, the brigade commanders on the left did theirs.

Hood wasted the Army of Tennessee more than once. Worst commander that army ever had.

Why you think the battle of peacetree creek happened the way it did for the Confederates?
