What a great video!- Been coming to Toledo ( from Detroit) for years following the outlaw late models. Seeing a little of the behind the seen, and seeing the drivers personalities, was really interesting! Thanks- good job!- clint

I must have missed this video when you did it last year. Glad to see Harold Fair Sr. One of the nicest racers I ever met back in the ASA days.

Wow I havent been to Toledo Speedway in years either!, not to bring up bad mojo but years ago we were up there for a big race and a concession guy ran across the track looked up and seen the cars comming at him and he froze up!, needless to say several cars ran him over and lost his life, he wasnt that old!. I'm thinking it was an ASA race, at 66 my memory isnt that great anymore!. Some day you will see Carson Hocevar in the cup series, hes doing good in the trucks!. Great job on the interviews, great video!

Thanks Steve. I remember that happening at Toledo...what a tragedy. He was just a kid. I don't doubt it with Hocevar. He's got the skill and the personality to make it to Cup...HMM

Nice insight to a form of racing I'm not to familiar with. Have seen South West Tour at Saugas Speedway in mid 80's. So it's been a minute sence I've attended a pavement show. Looked like fun tho. Thanks for the 25min field trip HMM.
