Nice review. I’ve had one of these for the past 1.5 years and overall pretty happy with it. As you said, I have also had a few minor issues. For the seat belt situation look under the seat near the seat belt receiver and you will see a connector coming off of it. Disconnect that plug and it will solve the speed restrictions. For the backup beeper, remove the screws for the switch panel on the dash and behind it you will find the beeper. Just disconnect that plug as well. Those 2 things drove me nuts and by the second day I was looking for a solution. Good luck!

It was the Polaris EV. It was 48v lead acid batteries. It is a Polaris Ranger, nothing like a golf cart. It has a true hi and low transfer case, not just a rpm limiter for your L M H range like yours. The Ranger EV is a workhorse as well. 30hp motor. The new kinetic is a beast. But you pay for it. Starting at $25k for the base, and $30k for the premium, with zero accessories. I will stick with my Intimidator EV. American Made workhorse. 30hp / 120 lb/ft torque

I had a small log come through the floor while driving through the pasture, also my left front tire keeps hitting the parking brake cable breaking it. Cheap plastic side panels have cracked also.

I have been living with limp mode for over a year! My dealer was utterly useless - I removed and sent back the speed controller for them to sit on for 2 months before sending it back saying nothing was wrong. I will now check all the solenoids - thanks! I have replaced 8*30kg batteries with 3*30kg LFP batteries and have never looked back. Also added a couple of solar panels to the roof with a Victron charge controller and now never need to plug it in.

How difficult was the battery replacement job? Looking to do that this spring/summer.

I purchased a new E1 in December of 2023, my only complaint to date is the lack of power on a hill even in low range. With a full battery charge starting on a slope it will roll backwards and not recover to go foward. I can't imagine plowing snow with it. That being said overall I like the machine.

It does plow really well. I think the weak point is the batteries. I'm hoping to swap mine out for Lifepo4 batteries in the future, I suspect that will make a tremendous difference in performance. I'll certainly update when I take on that project.

I have a 21' E1... Use it on rural property. I love the quiet stealth that doesn't disturb the animals. Mine does general hills great, but it sometimes won't pull itself up the steep incline of the riverbank.

I'm looking at buying a 2022 model with 450 miles on it. Was wondering if you have had any other issues besides steep incline? I will be using it around our 25 acres, but not in the woods. Any info you could give would be most appreciated!

@@NickBoen-o8s :: No... I am extreamly happy with my E1... 30 Acres with a river through the middle. Town is 3 miles and she makes the trip to town just fine (25mph though). Battery goes a weekend with heavy use and still 3 bars at the end.

Does it allow you to change to 4WD on the move ?

Yes, you can switch between 4WD and 2WD on the fly. You hear a slightly shifting sound. You can lock and unlock the 4WD power as well.

It's in the glove compartment on the right hand side. There is probably a 10' cable that tucks in there that you can plug into a regular 110v outlet (in the USA).

This is a piece of Junk! I've owned it since October and it's been in the shop for brake issues longer than I've owned it! Parts availability is horrible.. had to wait over 2 months for the remote winch replacement part.. 30 days to replace the parking brake that wore out after 30 days.. Don't waste your money! Buyer beware!!

That's interesting. Not been my experience. Did you buy new? I've had mine for 3 years now, haven't had any issues other than when I snapped off the sensor on the wheel by driving over a large bunch of logs/sticks.
